I have mixed feelings about the whole Photoshop thing. With the technology we have today, its hard to tell what is real from what is not. That said, I do have fun tinkering with Photoshop, as it allows unlimited creativity. Here are a few photos I took then tweaked with the program.

Two days ago on a sunny but windy day I took these 3 Seagull photos over the Coeur d' Alene Lake beach area which ranged from 350' to 650'. I am still practicing with this new Tamron lens for BIF photos. I'll get better as time goes on.
All photos were shot at 600mm.

great captures well done

Just joined, after getting the UHH newsletter link in my gmail.

A trip to Africa in summer of 2007 re-kindled my love of photography. My favorite subjects are birds, wildlife, and sports.

I have two Canon 50D bodies and 40D, and primarily use a couple longer lenses (400L f5.6 and 500L f.45) for my bird photography.

A couple of my published and/or award-winning images:

It was a beautiful, cool, crisp morning when my husband and I spotted this eagle. He or she looked so majestic soaring in the deep blue sky and was thankful to be able to get a few shots. These photos were taken a couple of days ago near our home. Thank you for looking. :D

I looked for a while trying to decide which cameras to buy. I read ideas from a lot of people on here, and looked at a lot of different cameras and picked up a new nikon d3200. Now I was told by a member, that I should never have gotten the d3200 because its pretty much the bottom of the barrel. Unlike the rest of everyone on here I don't have the money to just drop the 3200 and go buy another camera. So I'll not post anything else on here or brother anyone with questions.

Hope everybody has a great day

Rick do not give up on this forum your choice of camera is your choice
For every rude remark there will be at least a hundred encouraging and helpful folks to enjoy your company......nothing wrong with D3200

I can't see a thing via the eye piece. I have tried my glasses and non glasses.
Everthing is out of focus.
thanks

On the sx40 the Dioptre is on the left hand side of the eye piece.
Hopefully on the sx. 50 it is also there but you could miss it very easily
I hope this helps

That is something that gets right up my nose people who are to idle to type out the word, it is one thing to be in a hurry with a phone message (text)but just bad manners when answering a query on a forum.

Sorry Malky but.......people who are TOO idle to type out the word

I do not mean to cause any offence to you Malky we can all make small mistakes.

I read every word and despair at bad spelling or bad grammar also.

I know that snow is one hateful thing especially when it is wet and heavy. We got 5 inches (10 cm's) of this wet, heavy, stick snow on Saturday night. These shots were taken around 6:00 am on Sunday past. Sure is hard to hate snow when the trees look like these shots. Hard to imagine that once the snow blew off or melted, the trees stood right back up. It was still snowing a bit when the pictures were taken.

C/C most welcome

Steve
