Hard to hate snow when you see something like these

I know that snow is one hateful thing especially when it is wet and heavy. We got 5 inches (10 cm's) of this wet, heavy, stick snow on Saturday night. These shots were taken around 6:00 am on Sunday past. Sure is hard to hate snow when the trees look like these shots. Hard to imagine that once the snow blew off or melted, the trees stood right back up. It was still snowing a bit when the pictures were taken.

C/C most welcome

Steve

Thanks for the nice comments Jean, Sailorgirl and busted shutter.

Busted. Thanks for the welcome, but I have been here best part of 1 1/2 years now. I don't post a lot unless I have something I think folks will like.

Thanks all

John: I don't like snow much either. I have to drive 67 kilometers to work rain or snow. We are going to get tomorrow what you are getting now. Big snow, ,big winds, looks like a vacation day to me for tomorrow.

Nice, fluffy, pretty snow. Too bad our "snow season" lasts so long in Canada. After a few months of it, my summer can't come fast enough. But c'est la vie! Nice shots BTW.

I'm sitting next to my wood burning stove and your images reminds me of the -3 temperature outside. I can really enjoy your images better. Thanks

Good luck with your storm tomorrow, Steve. Looks like this one will be around 18 inches before it ends tomorrow. Hard to believe the ground was bare and it was 45 degrees last week. Good old New England. Only 8 more weeks to go until spring. :D

These are beautiful images, Steve, and are much more photogenic than the featureless gray skies Yakima has had for past 5 days - oh woe is me :) - but fog is so much easier to shovel than snow!

I you can get rid of the garbage cans and the car in #3 you'd have a real winner there, Steve.

Nice but I still hate snow, today about 10 inches and still snowing. The second picture looks like cotton.
