I keep it simple. If making a topic comment and not intended to comment to a particular post in the thread, I use quick reply. Otherwise, mostly “quote reply.” Often, I truncate the quoted comment between the quote notations to target my comment. Before hitting <Send>, I remind myself to make sure I didn’t confuse the issue and leave something hanging by truncating the post I’m responding to. And the last thing I do is deciding whether I want to continue monitoring the thread, I.e. uncheck the “(after replying……)” box.

Ditto….Mark…. I also DVR games. If a game is the first of two, I start the recording on time and add an hour at the end. Same for the second. Going in, I know I should (?) have it covered. If I simultaneously watch, I’ll join the game about an hour and skip commercials. Lastly, if my team loses and I accidentally hear the score before I settle in, I don’t watch. I joined the Iowa v UConn game using my delay method and it still broke my heart. Sigh….

Five or six years ago, I bought a pair of non-prescription Tifosi’s with a lower reader magnifier so I could read the Garmin while bike riding. Three years ago, I bough two more pair with high reader magnification. Then, last year another pair with my full prescription that are my go to driving sunglasses. The non-prescription glasses were all priced at $60, the full prescription at $300. All except for the first pair were purchased online. Sometime on that five or six year span, I bought a pair of Ray Bans that rarely left the car. I don’t know if it was the prescription or pupil distance or what but my eyes would fatigue wearing them for any length of time. I even had the prescription revised/updated with no real improvement. They now rest comfortably in the car’s glovebox because apparently I can’t give up on them yet, probably because how they cost me. But…. the Tifosi’s are well worth looking into.

I think it is a “layer mask.” Have you posed the question to ON1 support? They are usually responsive to most questions. There’s also a public forum.
