This car has "presence "stamped all over it, enough so that it might even be referred to as " intimidation ". The car is bodied by Sindelfinden Coachworks. The "S" in the name of the car stands for Sportwagon. It was initially sold to a gentleman in the U.S. He was given the opportunity to buy this very limited model because he bought a new Mercedes every year. This car is thought to be the oldest Sportwagon in existence. The third and present owner of the car put it through a nine year restoration period prior to putting it out for show. I can't even guess what that restoration cost.
