If anyone is using any of the on1 photo raw versions,
Please let me know. I'm just getting started and have a few basic, very basic questions. Thanks for any help.

Why PM? Others might be interested. That's what the forum is for.

Okay, when I complete an edit with i.e. stamp or copy tool, I can't figure out how to deselect or complete the process. If I select another tool, the original tool appears to still be active.

I have been using ON1 for years. The current version is by far the best.

With the tool still active but your use of the tool complete, position the tool toward the top of the screen until the drop down selection area shows. The selector will turn into an arrow. Slide it to the right and click on the check mark inside the blue circle. You’ll exit the “tool.”

Ditto for me. I abandoned Adobe LR and PS years ago and never looked back.

ON1 has a large video library of courses. You may want to start with this one:

I have been using it since it started with ON1 Photo RAW 2017 and use it regularly.

47, after I click on the check mark in the blue circle, it appears the I've completed the process. However, when I go back and for example select the healing brush and get near the previous edit it shows the green and red small boxes and the dotted outline of the that edit, indicating that the previous selection is still active, and that I can not perform another edit near or close to the previous edit.

Nope. Not me. But you might consider posting those basic questions, in your original post, then you will quickly get more useful answers.
