With the fungus is inside the lens the spores can enter your camera and spread to and ruin other lens. Most camera and lens repair shops will not let a lens with fungus into the working area. I would run away no matter how a good deal it is

No big deal Every time you write a check you are giving out your account and routing number. I wouldn’t hesitate giving it to them

Gentlemen, (2nd attempt in posting)
I need advice on a couple of items. One is how best to get a sharper image whereby one may see detail of the feathers of a bird (See attached File). Secondly, when post-editing a pic, how best to ‘denoise’ a picture. That is to say, steps one goes thru to denoise’ a pic. I have Adobe: Lightroom as a post editing tool but obviously I am not getting the right adjustment.

The picture attached was taken with my Nikon D500 having a 70.0-300.0 mm lens. Exposure was 1/2500 sec at F/16 at a distance of 40-50 feet, Metadata shows the ISO was at 45600. The ISO was set to AUTO and I did try to reduce the ISO down to 400, but the pic was to dark.

Any assistance or criticism would be greatly appreciated. I thank you for your replies.

Now this is just me. It looks like you have good light. First I would go to manual. For starters I would set the iso down to 100, slow the shutter down to 250 for starters might even slower. and use f5.6 (at that distance you will still have a good depth of field for this subject) and adjust your shutter speed from there. (You can also check your meter in manual adjusting your shutter speed to reach 0, it is very accurate) At 40-50 feet at 300mm and your camera you can crop if needed. Like I said this is me.

What cool shots but I'm confused. Why are there 3 pedals on the floor?

I only see the gas and the brake peddles and the emergency brake lever?

I am still trying to find my stride shooting in this particular area. It is challenging and may take the rest of my life (not being maudlin but this week marks 77 years and life is passing kinda fast). The attached is a composite of a foreground taken just at sunrise and a sky taken at night. Foreground is adjusted to simulate moonlight. Comments and/or suggestions are welcome.

I love this wouldn’t change a thing. Well done

It seems like photographers today think having a camera with a sensor that is smaller than normal is something new. Actually, it dates back to very early in photography, in the old film view camera days. Many photographers with view cameras had different film backs and used the same lenses to get different size photographs. 8X10 camera photographers often had 5X7 and 4X5 film backs, this would give them the ability to shoot a normal or wide angle shot, then shoot a full length and or portrait with the same camera, onto different film backs and only have to travel with 1 camera. Cropped camera is not a new thing, in 35mm film days it was know as 'half-frame' cameras.

Teacher Arrested At Pearson Airport
A high school teacher was arrested today at Toronto's Pearson Airport as he attempted to board a flight while in possession of a ruler, a protractor, a compass, a slide-rule and a calculator.

At a press conference, Premier Kathleen Wynne said she believes the man is a member of the notorious extremist Al-Gebra movement.

She did not identify the man, who has been charged by the OPP with carrying weapons of maths instruction.

'Al-Gebra is a problem for us', the Premier said. 'They derive solutions by means and extremes, and sometimes go off on tangents in search of absolute values.' They use secret code names like "X" and "Y" and refer to themselves as "unknowns"; but we have determined that they belong to a common denominator of the axis of medieval with coordinates in every country. As the Greek philosopher Isosceles used to say, "There are three sides to every triangle."

When asked to comment on the arrest, Prime Minister Trudeau said, "If God had wanted us to have better weapons of math's instruction, He would have given us more fingers and toes."

Fellow Liberal colleagues told reporters they could not recall a more intelligent or profound statement by any Prime Minister

Why not??? Facebook proactively checks posts to ascertain if they fit the guidelines/narrative that Facebook deems appropriate. I'm sure someone reporting the ad might help. I've seen nothing on how FB handles questionable ads.

I did report them and haven’t seen it lately

I have a Nikon D7200 and an Apple iPad. I shoot everything in jpeg. I also have an Apple connector that accepts my SD card in one end and plugs into my iPad on the other end. My routine is to remove my SD card from the camera, inset it into the connector and plug it into the iPad. The iPad then recognizes the camera and brings the images up on the screen. I select the images I want to import (usually all of them) and press import. They then transfer to the camera one at a time.

I went through this process with the images I shot today. I pressed import and the images immediately disappeared. They disappeared too quickly to be transferred but I still checked every file on my iPad. No pictures. I put the SD back in the camera and tried viewing the images with the same result. Anyone had this happen? I’m not certain if it’s the camera, the connector or the iPad but plan to do some testing tomorrow to see if I can narrow it down. Thank you for your help.

I had this happen once. I hit delete which is next to import. Like you said it goes away quickly. Luckily I had a CF card as a backup
