This looks like fun, but I am not sure how, or where, or when can I get involved. Thank you ahead for the information.

Spot on! By bracketing. I recently worked with my daughter-in-law with her basic Canon T5, tripod and kit lens. She wanted--and got some really great shots of the moon! How--by keeping it simple-- bracketing. Film is cheap--because she wasn't using any.

Don't be intimidated with all that 'fix it in the mix,' stuff....that will come in time. Be creative--and HAVE FUN! //...Not really sure what operating system, or software, Ansel Adams used, and his stuff is pretty cool.

Great shot!!! I live in cold and mostly gray Ohio--shooting at that temp., isn't a whole lot of fun. Good job.

Nice photos! I was trying to figure out how to replicate on my own. Then I read your technique, and re-read, and.... Uhhh, I am just going to enjoy your photos. They are phenomenal!

Amazing! I am in such awe of all the bird (for lack of better vocab.) photos on this site. The crisp and saturated.

Are you kidding me? Is that a real situational photo?

God is a great painter! I like #2. It holds you a split second longer//the juxtaposition of the two subjects creates a feeling--gives it dimension/photo personality. That's the 'postcard.' //And, I AM living in drab Ohio--jealous. Thanks for the photos.

I absolutely LOVE it! My wife on the other hand, didn't understand the 'why' of the photo--what/why/who is the motivation. Both comments are valid.

I posted this photo before. The blue umbrella was placed in the photo to balance the photo both in color and orientation. This is the Missouri Governor's Mansion. The blue catches you eye first and then you look to see where the woman is looking.
