I have several Canon film and digital cameras. Have never had a problem with Canon.
The Canon 18-135 would do a great job. I had the 28-135 and used it on a 40D and 70D with great results. I have a Tamron 16-300 now which I wish I had not bought. I just don't feel comfortable with it.

Some people never receive compliments so when someone compliments them they don't know how to react. Years ago I was promoted to Personnel director of my company. I made it a habit of greeting our employees each day. One older Lady accused me of flirting with her. When asked why she said it was because I always greeted her each day. I then asked her if she thought I was flirting with the male employees too. I served in similar gobs for more than 30 years with very few problems.
The Berlin US Military Veterans Assn. will be in Berlin for their annual reunion from October 2 until October 9. Bet someone in the group would be happy to show you the city. If I make the trip I would be happy to share the city with you.
You are is for a treat. One thing you must try is currywurst mit brochen. Seriously there is so much to see in Berlin. I was stationed there when the wall went up. Feb.1961 until Aug.1963. Returned in 1998,2006 and 2010. You tube has excellent videos on Berlin. Make a list.
I used a Canon G11 for a few years until a thief took it from my truck. Did not replace it yet as I don't like cameras without a view finder. Canon G 11 & 12 were great cameras.
A drive in in Alpena hit me for $12.00 for a regular cheeseburger and onion rings. There will not be a second time.

Thank you. I tend to agree. I bought a Tamron 16/300 and gave my Canon 28/135 away. Believe the Canon was better.
