Cambriaman, You haven't posted a photo in a "photography" section of UHH since October 2021, and only two since 2019. Shame on you for complaining.
It appears that Photo Gallery saw
fifty new topics posted yesterday. I assume there were also a bunch of new topics in the sub-gallery Birds + a sprinkling in the volunteer-managed sections. Maybe time for you to learn how to navigate UHH in order to have a more personally satisfying experience?
btw, in Photo Gallery any photo of any

Way to go Linda! I love the fact checking.
So it just dawned on me today ( the day before the eclipse) that I should try and get some shots of it. I am north of Philly in the 91% totality zone. I know you need filters for your cameras and phones ( which I don’t have). But I do have glasses. Is holding my glasses over the lens safe?
Also, an article I read said that for a few minutes during totality, it is safe to remove the filters. I wonder if that will be safe in my area (at 91%)?
To answer your question, I have now reached a point where I question every image, video, etc.
Beautiful picture! How in the world do you get a shot like that?
I think the original photo is beautiful. Just crop out the top left area.
I’m always a sucker for these. Good stuff!
I like how you show the step by step process.
I have to say that I’ve been cursing the Adamski effect ever since it reared its head on these pages a few weeks ago, but yours is well done!
WOW. Very Impressive!
I hope you have a version of this in "landscape" orientation.
This is beautiful!
What program are you using?
I agree with above. I visited over the summer and read Killer Angels prior. Having some background knowledge will add so much to your trip.
I said "Oh my gosh" outloud when I opened your link. Beautiful!
You didn't mention the third way to get to the top: walk. I hiked up and down last summer- very rewarding.
I bought a base model Mustang in Dec. 2020. It's fast enough for me and it's a sharp looking car. I get compliments all the time. Reasonable gas milage. Only downside is with all Mustangs- rear wheel drive. But last year in Philly we only got 0.3 inches of snow :)
