I guess you just don't get or understand the point of my post, I nor anyone else fell for anything you are implying. This was a simple inquiry as to why and how different people can view the same image yet see different color combinations, that's it. There is no falling for anything as you seem to be implying, maybe you should take a deep breath and remove your thoughts from conspiracy theories and your high horse while you are at it. Sorry, but I have run out of patience with your petty nonsense, have a good night.

My observation of the person you are writing about: a troll, or loves to hijack a thread to an area he has knowledge in, or the butter is slipping off his noodles. My reason for going personal is to support you, and warn others. My experience: I had to "Ignore" him to keep a thread of mine from descending into anarchy.
Whatever the reasons for the intrusive, off-the-rails posts, they are best terminated. Free speech is fine, but it is often limited appropriately. Someone who takes away the speech (okay, writing) of others may not deserve speech/writing in our situation.

Does anybody see this image and think the shoe is pink?

Now that I've read the articles and looked at the image several times, I do

Oh thanks! So my eyes are bad. Perhaps the doctor messed up my color vision.
Pink with screwy lighting...

It depends on what color space the original photo was uploaded in. If it was something other than sRGB, the colors will be weird on different monitors. It's always best to use sRGB when uploading a photo to the web or when sending as an email.
Or, it could be a trick like others have alluded to. Something to do with our eyes and how they perceive color.

Yes, there are quite a few people on FB who have said they see a pink shoe with white laces, I could not believe them.

The shoe seems to have a pinkish case with light green trim. Colors are infinitely variable, so deciding whether something is more green than blue becomes a matter of opinion at some point.
In download there is a very slight pinkish tint in main shoe color. The laces are a pale blue/green.
Before the download I see a gray shoe with pale blue/green laces. A lot of noise in hand and background.

I see some gray and a few shades of blue, but I do not really get what you're after with your question (why would this have anything to do with editing software?? That doesn't make any sense!
