B&H defines customer service IMO.
I just purchased my oldest daughter's GoPro, my S-I-L Nikon Rangefiner, my 2 youngest granddaughter's Nikon cameras, my oldest granddaughter Apple, my wife's high end Sony video...plus a bunch of memory cards, extra batteries, tripod and so on. I do this every year and have been for some time. Birthdays same story. B&H ships this stuff all over the country and it gets there in time without any hassles. Even got our company to purchase lots of things thru them, including a 6 core MacPro.
Do you think we could vote B&H into Congress? House of Rep? White House? Heck even our state or local governments??
Happy Holidays B&H !!

B&H -- always the best. Dave
My DW bought me a Panasonic LX100 from B&H for a Xmas present. I'm thrilled!
Have been to their store and ordered much online for many years. They are my go to supplier.

On Sunday afternoon Dec. 21 I placed an online order with B&H. On Tuesday Dec 23 the USPS delivered it to my home 2,000 miles away. Free shipping.
Our local retailer shows the same item on their web site. I clicked "contact us" to ask if it was in stock. I was willing to fight the mall traffic and pay a higher price just out of community loyalty. They didn't even answer my query.
When it comes to any future purchase, it will come from New York.

Congratulations! There are lots of excellent online sellers. B&H and Adorama are tow of the best.
I'm fortunate to live just across the river from NYC. As a bonus, my son lives only a few blocks from B&H. So whenever I'm in the neighborhood (which is far more often than I should! g>), I go in, ask questions, get some "hands on," and then have the store ship whatever it is to me. No tax. No shipping charges. Once I thought the package arrived at my front door before I got home! (Well, not quite but you get the idea.) Never had an issue. Hope I never will but I'm confident that they'll resolve any problem quickly. But the best thing about the store is that in many, many years of asking questions (some of them really dumb ones), I've NEVER run into a salesperson who didn't know what he or she was talking about. THAT'S invaluable.
Some years ago I heard of B&H from a friend. Looked them up online. I couldn't believe how much stuff they had. On a trip to NY I went to B&H and left with a Nikon D7000. I will go to them 1st before any one else. ALWAYS had good service. love me some B&H
I have ordered from B&H every since the locals have left my home area. I have found that the inventory is always in stock for my needs, the prices are good, the delivery is always quick and the service and sales associates are very accommodating! This is why they are my supplier ! They also sponsor many educational tutorials that are excellent as well !!!
B&H is amazing. I recently bought a Nikon 1 kit from them. I also bought a VR 30-110 lens to go with the kit. No VR switch on the 30-110 lens. I used their chat line and had an answer in minutes. (The VR is automatically engaged) B&H Chat is what all chats should be. I have also sent emails to them commending their service. They are always answered by an email thanking me and assuring me my email will be passed around to employees and posted. As an aside. My Nikon 1 pictures are amazing. Very underrated Nikon Camera System.

Thanks to the OP and to everyone else here for your kind words. This is very gratifying and much appreciated!
Henry, we are all reporting great experiences with B&H because that is what they are... great! I have been a customer for many years and I have ALWAYS felt like I got the best deal, best advice, best service and best of everything else. The overall customer experience at B&H is simply the best!
Online has become a better source than local. Sure I've had to return stuff on occasion, but that is easier than dealing with local stores these days.
Even when Amazon started sales tax in FL, the prices still beat these local people. The people on the contact line are polite and knowledgeable and know your customer track record. Local stores here in the Orlando area have a lot of turnover in people.
As stated no parking and traffic to deal with is a bonus.
