3 Cheers for B&H

On Sunday afternoon Dec. 21 I placed an online order with B&H. On Tuesday Dec 23 the USPS delivered it to my home 2,000 miles away. Free shipping.
Our local retailer shows the same item on their web site. I clicked "contact us" to ask if it was in stock. I was willing to fight the mall traffic and pay a higher price just out of community loyalty. They didn't even answer my query.
When it comes to any future purchase, it will come from New York.

i have dealt with B&H before and had results similar to yours. Perhaps an e mail to them would be appreciated. Happy Holidays

I have to drive an hour and a quarter through Seattle's worst routes to get to the excellent Kenmore Camera. Then I get to drive back!

The value of the time, the price of the gas and that B&H does not charge me the local 9.8% sales tax.

Of course, B&H provides stellar service.

I've had very good experiences with B&H. Some years ago I visited the store in NYC. Very nice people.

B&H simply does a great job. If you are ever in NYC be sure to visit their store.

Local guys should take a few pages from the B&H play book.....they provide top notch service.

They are great to deal with and usually are spot on with recommendations. The no tax and free shipping are a bonus.I was just up in NYC and visited the store again.Very impressive.They have great customer service. Rich

Had my 1st "bad" experience with B&H today. I purchased a used Gossen Luna Pro light meter, the adapter that uses LR44 batteries, & some of the Wein cells that replace the PX625 batteries. The meter wouldn't function with anything. Got online and did a live chat. By the time I closed my browser, the RMA & return UPS label were in my inbox. Should have the replacement by the end of next week. Typical of B&H customer service. I won't buy from anybody else.
