Because he still feel that there are many more people worthy of having the opportunity to seek his grace.

Yes, Mary, the mother of a man named Jesus, was inseminated by a ghost (some call it a spirit), according to the Bible. Thus, some kind of sex had to have taken place. And what is wrong with sex among ghosts and humans? Ridiculous.

Yes, that was ridiculous. A spirit can not have sex with each other or with humans. Where did you get such a ridiculous ideal as that?
God, who created the heavens and the earth and all that is in it, surely he can put life into the womb of a woman. His spirit did not have sex with anyone. God is Spirit, neither male nor female. Have you not heard, there is no marriage in heaven neither is there the giving of sex in heaven.
The whole idea of a heavenly insemination of an earthly being is ridiculous to me. The Bible has weird ways of making human beings, in my opinion. It would have been more consistent if God had just sweep up some more dust and formed Jesus like he did Adam.
I just cannot fathom those explanations, even though I admit that I do not claim to know how life originated on earth. I just do not know and neither do you. It is all in what you believe, and the mind can be trained to believe anything.

Nope again. Atheists neither thank or blame any supernatural entity.

!. The Jewish people are, and have suffered because of their disobedience. The probable worst is when they rejected Jesus, and cried Crucify him, let his blood be on our hands, well it pretty much has. But you can't forget they are still Gods chosen people, and he will yet spiritually restore them.
2. The Bible really does not explain exactly where Evil came from, except it was found in Lucifer (satan) in the form of exalted Pride. As far as its existence, God is dealing with it according to his plan, and will crush it in the end.

That is probably the most obscene thing I have ever read on this forum. The holocaust was part of god's punishment? You should be thoroughly ashamed of yourself - that is just appalling, you anti-Semitic scumbag

Wasn't there research done that showed that Canon users were less intelligent than Nikon users? That doesn't mean that I am going to give up my Canon 60D.
I would love to see that. Please post the references.

Thank you for you side of it. I would suppose, then, that heaven has plenty of space and God feels the need to fill it, based on what you say. I just wonder why God doesn't fill heaven with believers and be done with it.
Maybe he enjoys sending the non-believers to hell? He knows everything, anyway, so then he already knows who the believers and non-believers would be, long before he ever creates them?
I have a tough time rationalizing all of that. I can't help my feelings, here, as all of that comes across to me as just plain nonsense.
Nevertheless, what you have to say counts, so thanks for your side of things again.
I am amazed that a forum on photography could generate so much enmity among otherwise very intelligent and creative people. The question of whether there is a God or not is unanswerable for us. Whatever gets you through the night is right for you. We should all agree to disagree and get back to photography and our creativity.

Great idea, but exactly how would you purpose to make that happen?

Hi James: I have no clue; it was only a dream.

Nagy: This appears to be Steve's muddled way of exonerating god of all responsibility for evil. He must adamantly disregard logic to maintain this stance: If god created all things, he created the capacity for evil. He did not have to do that, because he could have done anything he wanted. He must be a sadist.
Steve40: As far as its existence, God is dealing with it according to his plan, and will crush it in the end.
Nagy: Why let it prevail even temporarily if he has the power to do whatever he wants? He must revel in some of the mischief that results. That makes him a sadist; rather evil himself.

jaygreen55: I had a client who was a holocaust survivor. He grew up an orthodox Jew but became an Atheist. When I asked him why
he said he left his faith behind when he crossed the gates of Auschwitz. For all of those who point to the beauty of the world as evidence of the existence of god seem to forget about all the ugliness that's out there as well. The holocaust was a man made event but according to the bible man was made in god's image. If god exists he's got a pretty sick sense of humor

Evil is not something that is created. It is the opposite of that which is Holy. Just as darkness is the absence of light and cold is the absence of heat. Man has free will so yes, man has the capacity for evil but it is not something that God created.

So he didn't create everything at all? Now you've got me confused.
