They all look wonderful to me.
Thanks again everyone! I knew I would have some that liked the natural water and some that like the silky water, I think it all depends on the area and I do like both depending on my mood!
That is a whole lot of water. A very enjoyable set Cindy!

Lovely set of waterfalls. I must say I am no fan of silky waterfalls. They look fake to me.
Beauties all--Iβm not a big fan of milky photos in general, but yours work well.

This past week we have been out horn hunting in various area's and came across so many waterfalls! Just love this time of year...here are a few. I know some people like the silky look to the water and some don't so here are a few of each.
Let me know which one's you like best and if there is anything I can do to improve them!
All very lovely. I like best the one with the mountain peaks showing through. And I am probably one of only a few that prefers detail in the water vs. the smoothed-out effect.

These are really beautifully done Cindy. While I am not a silky or still motion fanatic, I just love water and the falls you captured. I really like the mixture you showed us. It seems some scenes are better off silky and vice versa.
#3 is really awesome and perfect for the slower speed while #4 is stunning with that clear pool and the power of the cascading!! I like #6 the best of the bunch!!! Silky or stopped in time, it's just beautifully framed!

These are all nice, and itβs cool that you experimented with different shutter speeds. I tend to favor these type water pictures with higher shutter speeds, but that is just my personal preference.
Spring runoff is different in different places - I have attached a shot made in Norway as the snows were melting. There were waterfalls everywhere, streaming down the steep cliffs. This shot was made from the deck of a ship in the middle of a fjord.
Thanks again everyone for commenting and letting me know which version you like better....it's about 50/50!
Iβm partial to number 6. I canβt choose between silky or stopped I like them both, but in the mountains during snowmelt the water is fast moving and you can hear the boulders tumbling, and number 6 stands out for the inclusion of the headwaters region.ππ»ππ»ππ»
