What's your problem with those of us who have chosen to not make the move to mirrorless? Yes, mirrorless may be the latest, and possibly the greatest, but dslrs work fine for many of us. I looked into mirrorless and found absolutely no reason to make the move.
You've made your point in the past. We know you prefer mirrorless. That's find for you but you don't need to act like a missionary converting the natives. Enough already. You are getting tiring.
It’s bad enough he’s posting this stuff. What’s even worse is you being forced to read it.

He owns and uses cameras with mirror. I think he has only 1 mirrorless. He has more cameras with mirror.

I've never got tail fins.
Hope they do a comeback!

WHAT???!!! You were forced to read it too? What’s this world coming to?
Adorama still has them, deeply discounted.
https://www.adorama.com/l/?searchinfo=nikon%20d500&sel=Item-Condition_New-ItemsHey I made the move to Sony mirrorless in Jan. 2017 after over four decades using SLRs and DSLRs from Nikon and Canon (both brands) .
Sure I have touted the advantages of mirrorless over DSLRs many times in UHH discussions.
But If your DSLR still works for you, fits your style and comfort level, makes great photos and is long ago paid for, don't let anyone tell you that you need to switch, not me or even mister Canon.
Be happy and use your DSLRs until they fall apart, and/or there are no more parts to fix them.
As a Professor of Photography at a state university, my many photo students happily learn photography using both DSLRS and Mirrorless cameras.
Cheers
Like the NikonUSA site, Adorama is accepting orders. However, as of now, they both show them as backordered. Nikon doesn't always show that until the item is added to cart.
The good news is that they are not listing them as discontinued.

It happens.
All current models will be discontinued at some point.
And they DO want you to replace it with the newer model.
ANY newer model.
Have never understood what young adolescent snarkiness has to do with the personal joy of creative photography. Oh well. I got used to it teaching Jr High, just didn’t expect it here.
