I’m not griping about life. I’m griping about you and your intellectually limited rhetoric

Nikon products from Taiwan etc. seem to be as good as older from Japan according to reviewers.
Nikon will survive, just not as a powerhouse but a niche product like Leica and Pentax. Good quality but low volume.
No way like Leica. Pentax hardly considered survives.
JUST WHAT WORDS ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? YOUR THE ONLY ONE USING POTTY sorry about the caps

It appears you're unfamiliar with the handy UHH feature that allows you to edit your comments for an hour after posting. That is what Mac did after I commented to him. If you're curious, the original words he wrote are in the "quote reply" part of my comment.
You are apparently also unfamiliar with "quote reply." Though you probably clicked reply right below my comment, you can see that it ended up several pages further into the thread. Comments are posted in time stamp order. I guessed you were speaking to me because I think I think I was the only one to use "potty" (until Mac did in his reply to me).
Now relax and enjoy the rest of the show!

Yea, Ford was making Cars before any of the other companies, Hand-built, the variety of the early parts were bought to the car in a specific stall, around 1910 in Detroit, years before the 1st moving assembly line, built by Ford in the newly built Highland Park assembly plant just a few miles north of Detroit, Michigan.
Not true - Ever heard of Daimler Benz? And there were several others before old Henry got started, was fired and started again. As to Nikon failing... YAWN....ZZZZZZ. Wake me when it's over.

Mac, pay no attention to him. He is not worth your time. The only thing he is any good at is baiting folks into responding to his constant and persistent trolling, administration pays no attention, and neither should you. Photography seems to be a sore spot with him, but his trolling can change the way you feel about UHH.
Folks that have doubts about themselves act out on line to get attention. The more attention they get, the more they seem to need it. Folks here on UHH have learned to ignore it mostly. His posts are like the mosquito you hear buzzing by your ear at night, you know it's there, but you can't quite swish it, and you continue to hear that buzzing the rest of the night, and I know it can be aggravating.
Like I said, better not to scratch the bite (troll), just makes the bite and buzzing worse.
Good luck to you my friend and keep on shooting until the end.

For all the negativity about Nikon’s supposed problems, I see many Nikon banners at The Open today. My guess is they are not going away.
The only people who seem to think they are going away are YouTube "commentators" interested in creating clickbait headlines and fanboys of products from companies that specialize in sound equipment and printers. Nikon is in the process of reorganizing and will likely never regain the No. 1 ranking in sales but they will likely continue to produce quality cameras and great lenses. I wouldn't worry about them going out of business.

I am a Nikon fan boy but since Nikon will soon stop making Cameras in Japan so I won't be buying any new Nikon. May be I have to switch to Canon for new camera if my current Nikon goes dead.
I don’t understand what difference it makes whether Nikons are made in Japan or somewhere else.
