Your comments gave me a great chuckle. For some reason the tv show "Free to be you and me" comes to mind

As for the disappearing potty talk: it appears you're unfamiliar with the handy UHH feature that allows you to edit your comments for an hour after posting. That is what Mac did after I commented to him. If you're curious, the original words he wrote are in the "quote reply" part of my comment.

One last housekeeping bit to tidy up: to the person who asked about The Attic, click this link:

It's supposed to be for political "discussions," but is simply an excuse for people to mis-behave. Be warned, there are some very serious bromances going on there. After following for a few days you'll see what I mean

All this talk about Nikon. I purchased my first Nikon in 1972. Nikkormat with 50mm f1.4 lens. Went with Nikon due to the reputation for Optics. Seemed to me to be the most important aspect of a Camera. My Grandson is now using it. Works as well as it did in 1972. I now have 3 other 35mm Nikons all in working order. Yes, I have Nikon DSLRs. I love my Nikons! Attached photo was taken with my Nikon S2 which was produced in the mid 1950s.

It's got a little bit of everything to interest the eye, and it's great

When Americans indicated a preference for smaller more fuel efficient cars in the 1970s, American auto makers continued to make gas guzzlers. Americans bought the smaller cars they wanted and gave foreign makers a toe hold they never relinquished.

Instead of investing profits to upgrade their steel making procedures American steel manufacturers stayed with their outdated methods and used profits for dividends. Meanwhile Germany and Japan did upgrade and were able to make higher quality steel at a lower price.

The failure to be able compete with foreign companies lies directly on the shoulders of American corporate leadership.

Unlike Canon, Nikon is a global scientific instrument company. Unlike Canon, Nikon makes their own glass from their own manufactured blanks, only one other global company does that. Unlike Canon, Nikon's equipment has been used by NASA since it's inception and still uses Nikon rangefinders and digital camera's for positioning on the international space station. Unlike Canon, Nikon donates Millions of dollars in medical equipment to undeveloped third world countries.

And I never knock Canon, they make some of the worlds finest camera's. I know you "TROLL" post all the time but I had to respond this time.

Good commentary on the reality of the situation :)
