I'm really looking forward to this weekend when I can get out and put my new Z7 through it's paces. I'm still working on getting it set up with the assistance of David Busch and Darrell Young. I wasn't surprised that it was smaller than my D500 or D7200, but thought it would be bigger than the G9.

Congratulations and wishes for you and your new camera. Would love to see some posts first chance you get. Enjoy!!

It matters not where your motivation comes from, but that it is was purchased from an authorized seller.

You said nothing about that in your original post, you are now backtracking. I will forgive you if you explain to everyone the differences in sensor size and list the advantages and disadvantages of each. Thank you, apology excepted.

I’m not backtracking at all. And I don’t want, need or care about any “forgiveness”. If you go read my original post I clearly mention that the full frame Z7 is smaller than both of my APS-C Nikons and no bigger than my MFT Panasonic G9. As for explaining the sensors sizes and the advantages and disadvantages of each, well that’s been gone over ad nauseam in here. If you need to know just try searching the forums.

"but that it is was"

Even though I have been a Canon and Pentax user for forty years now, and before then Kodak, even I know that being a "Nikon Authorized Dealer" is a big deal.

For Nikon and the users, of course.

An authorized dealers list really doesn't answer the question.

All here....at first, I agreed with...'the purpose of this post..'
Then, I kept reading more replies castigating the OP for various reasons.
Not fair and not right. Based on the critics remarks here, there have been an enormous number of gratuitous posts that have not had this response.
Give the guy a break...his new camera arrived and just wish him the best! And, don't take yourselves so seriously!

Could not agree more. The negative ones present themselves as a little jealous.

Good luck with the new gear hope you can produce good images with it.

The universe works in crazy ways. You can have good luck wash over you in waves, just like bad luck. Or, you can change to a mirrorless camera.

You didn't miss much....only the usual hot-air-rising mediocre hyper-sensitive banter that comes from conversing with humans on UHH.........Only The Best ! ! !
