It was not the fact that it was annoying, it was the fact that it was a first grade attempt at attention, with nothing to say about photography. No insight added about the camera, nothing about the features you liked or did not like, no comparing your new camera features with those of your other camera's.
You know, USEFUL information, not self promotion, not self ego inflation, something useful to us all. You had an excellent opportunity to share your thoughts and you chose just to do a simple first grade SHOW AND TELL.
You might as well entitled your post, "look what the brown truck brought me".

It was enough to make you rant. I say if you're gonna act curmudgeonly, embrace it. Yes I'm happy to have a new camera and I've love to give more insight once I've had a chance to really get out and shoot with it. It had nothing to do with ego, I'm great enough that I have many better things to feed my ego with. I was just trying to show how small it is compared to my cameras with smaller sensors.

You said nothing about that in your original post, you are now backtracking. I will forgive you if you explain to everyone the differences in sensor size and list the advantages and disadvantages of each. Thank you, apology excepted.

Tomorrow's success was yesterday's brown truck delivery.

Truth be told it was a white truck.

Did you get a promotion within the hierarchy of UHH membership?

Success is simply a matter of luck. Ask anyone with inferior equipment.

BTW - how is that the likes of you are throwing stones? https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/user-topic-list?usernum=46539

He has been exposed.

The pot calling the kettle black. "New Tool is Cool". I wonder how he is getting on with his new tool? I hope that he is enjoying it and we wish him luck.

But, it was obvious that it's hard to have good luck with the wrong camera brand.

Is it? Is it really that obvious!? If someone owns multiple brands of cameras, how do they know which brand has bestowed them with a bounty of luck?

Good luck is when opportunity meets preparation, while bad luck is when the wrong camera meets reality.

I'm really looking forward to this weekend when I can get out and put my new Z7 through it's paces. I'm still working on getting it set up with the assistance of David Busch and Darrell Young. I wasn't surprised that it was smaller than my D500 or D7200, but thought it would be bigger than the G9.

Congratulations on your new camera! We'll look forward to seeing the results and hearing what you think about the larger sensor and comparative performance.

Hmm... maybe not "bad luck" but "wasted opportunity?" ;-) (Not directing this at anyone.)

If you don't meet luck halfway, your shopping cart will never contain a new camera.

My eyes are beginning to cross and I have lost the thin weak thread that runs thru all of this back and forth. So congrats to the new camera owner. Share your successes and challenges with a FF ML

The most recent camera I purchased is a Canon EOS 90D. Not only was it never in a shopping cart, there was absolutely no luck involved in the purchase.
