You need a KVM switch. It will allow you to switch your monitor (and keyboard and mouse if you wish) between different computers.

Thank you for your information. I will look into that at Best Buy or Amazon.

Windows 10 is a piece of crap 🤮. I bought a Dell inspiron about 2 yrs. ago. Played with it for several weeks. Finally purchased a full version of Windows 7 Professional. Called Dell, took it to 2 computer tech shops, all said you couldn't load in 7. BS! after completely reformatting the HD twice, finally reinstalled W7P. It works great. I will not change it. Even when they stop supporting it. One of my favorite quotes is....
If you play with hardware long enough, it breaks. If you play with software long enough...it works. And if your computer is
running smoothly now...IT'S OBSOLETE!!!!

I received Windows 20 update and clicked ok. A bout a half hour later I went to download my pics from my camera. My usual windows did not open Searching for photos in EOS Device.
It just opened K drive but no pictures???
Finally I found them in Goggle backup. This was very frustrating and getting them back on to my external hard drive from Google is not easy. Everytime there is an update, something goes wrong!

Still vaiting vor a go at Vindows Nein!

"Windows 10 is a piece of crap 🤮" ????? Why?

Most Win 10 users, who are tech savvy UHH subscribers, indicate that Win 10 is the most stable and best OS Microsoft has issued. I totally concur. Win 10 is flexible, responsive, fast and reliable. I'm curious about your characterization of Win 10. Can you be specific without just shouting negative generalizations? In what ways does it fail you? If I'm being a PIA to you, just ignore my response.

Thanks,
Mark

I love Windows 10. I installed the most recent upgrade and was pleasantly surprised with some of the new benefits. I'm a programmer and have used a number of different operating systems over the years; Windows is my favorite by a long shot. I know that there is a contingent of Mac lovers out there who swear by it, but to me the Mac operating system is very non-intuitive (could just be my background). In terms of getting bang for the buck, Apple doesn't come close.

It is "Start10" by Stardock Software and costs about 10 bucks - https://www.stardock.com/products/start10/
Win 10's tiles are all gone and the menu looks and functions exactly as it did with Win 7 with a few functional improvements.
The Win 10 tiles system is the only part of Win 10 that I really don't like, and for my purposes Start10 does a wonderful job.

I was a great supporter of Start10 for several years after Win 10 came out but eventually moved over to Win 10s tile system. I customized it quite a bit and now think it is much preferable to Win 7. The version of the tiles that came with the earlier versions of Win 10 were crap but the current versions are fine.
I conquered my resistance to change and have no regrets.

I concur as well. My wife's computer has had Win 10 for several years. Not a single problem even though regularly updated.

I keep my PCs - I have two running Windows 10, one a Dell and the other an HP - loaded with the latest versions/updates of W10. I have never had an issue with the updates on either machine...with either the OS or any programs run on the PCs. I also keep all drivers updated and again have never encountered any issues. I have on occasion had issues with individual program updates, take Photoshop and Lightroom as examples. Many of those issues have been discussed to death on this forum, so you doubtlessly know what I mean.

I know...lucky me...

It sounds like he runs with 2 monitors. I have a KVM switch to connect any one of 4 computers to a single monitor, keyboard, mouse - - but haven't seen a KVM switch that will permit linking to 2 monitors. There certainly MAY be one though - - I've not looked recently.

I installed Windows 10 the first day it came out on the internet and it has been great, best OS yet. I leave my computer on 24/7 and let it update its self, never a problem drivers or updates. I called it my ebay computer, because I bought everything from ebay and
built it myself, it is a great computer.

Agree almost 100%. I do not keep mine running 24/7. I installed early and have had only one problem with updates. I installed the 1803 version early and had to back it out. It appears that version 1903 finally fixes a problem that has bugged me from the beginning. I suspect a mismanagement of shared memory was causing audio problems even though I was not using the on-board audio. That problem went away when 1903 was applied. I have only had 1 BSOD with W10 and I knew how I caused it - when testing some edge situations, I disabled a critical service.

It was fine until development was discontinued, as of 2017, confirmed by the link.

Nice while it worked...

My copy still works just fine. It's been taken over by the following group

(I updated my previous post with the correct link)

Sorry that you had problem, Shoe, I use the onboard audio and have never encountered a problem. Your problems may have been you audio drivers, glad the problem went away.

You are either crazy, or stupid. You certainly don't give any impression that you know anything about your computer, or Windows. Please get help.
