So, uh, we should just give our education tax dollars to for-profit, so-called charter schools, who will hire anybody who can stand upright to indoctrinate your kids into pseudo-science and revisionist history, while paying the school director mid-six figure salaries and senior managers of the charter school corporation millions?

You are out of your flaming mind. Go get your meds, wash 'em down with the libby Koolaid you are addicted to and go back to bed.
Can't wait for your stupid reply so I can rebut you with facts, Herr Goebbels, but hurry as I don't have much time to waste with nincompoops like you.

I bought a 9½ acre hayfield. I knew what I wanted in a house. I interviewed two architects. I hired a Japanese architect to design the house, keeping what I wanted in mind. He came up with a really nice design which satisfied my requirements. I tore apart a block of stables for the wood at an animal auction house that went up for sale. I bought hand hewn timbers from an old barn for a post and beam construction. I like my house. My wife acted as contractor. A carpenter down the road built it. I've lived in it 46 years and hope I can die in it.

Show how bad things have become. A person with a 4 years of collage can't get a job at some fast food place. But the Moron is saying everything is great.

Actually that is a lie and you know it. Jobs are up for anyone who wants a decent job all over America. This is not like the time of Obama where the available jobs seemed to be flipping burgers. For people who want to work hard and get ahead it can be great. It is all about them and how hard they want to work.

Oh, learn to spell college. You look ridiculous talking about schooling and you can't spell college. And your first sentence should be Show(S) how bad things have become.

Always glad to help you out. Good luck on finding a job.

Geez! Is that the best you can offer up? Name calling and personal insults? Go read the news - charters are fleecing the taxpayers while having no accountability for either education or funds use. Some cities and states are waking up to the tremendous waste of tax money charters have perpetrated. Charters are a failed concept for educating our kids. They are only a mechanism for wealthy, well connected “entrepreneurs” to funnel your tax dollars into their pockets, and are being aided and abetted in the rip-off by our billionaire Secretary of Education, who couldn’t care less about your childrens’ education. Read the real news - not Faux News.

Sorry Bucko. I can't speak for all charter schools but my ex, a teacher for many years has spoken very highly of Charter schools. But parents should look at each school to be certain it offers the quality of education they are looking for. But for you to put down ALL charter schools is just plain stupid.

Well Stanley, here is another nice mess you've gotten yourself into.
By the way, you wouldn't be a member of a teacher's union would you?
Your so-called facts are fabrications. How many kids or grandkids do you have in public schools vs charter schools?

I have eye witnessed charter schools for years and they most certainly provide a quality education that is not offered by the propaganda mongering public schools. I looked at a public school history book a couple of years ago and learned some interesting facts that appears to be at odds with the balderdash you are spouting. I also sat in on a public school sociology class.

Here are some of the things that the charter school kids are not learning:
The world's worst human rights violator is the United States
The country most responsible for human rights violations throughout the rest of the world is the United States
America moved west of the Mississippi River because white farmers wanted to "steal Indian land"
The Industrial Revolution was the result of greedy industrialists who wanted to drive small craftsmen out of business.

Also, Stanley, charter schools are held responsible for their performance and in this area they consistently outscore the publics in all categories---except budget, theirs were less.
All of these items were emphasized in the public school material and classes I reviewed and there were numerous other examples, as well.

So, Stanley, these are just the tip of the ice berg when it comes to facts. So, go scratch the top of your head in bewilderment cuz you are mis-informed by your favorite Koolaid vendor so give it up---you've lost all credibility. I'm sure you can find some anti-American pinko friends to support your goofy personal opinions so pls confine any future remarks you may have to them cuz I have wasted far more time on you than you are worth.
Say good night to Mrs Laurel, Stanley.

Most other professions aren't 9-5 either. There's meetings to prepare, meetings to attend, extra training, emails to read, etc. Plus they work about 50 weeks a year. I respect teachers and they can complain about not being able to discipline the students and I will support them but they chose to be teachers and shouldn't whine about pay or hours.
