So they claim Nikon will work with Sony to eliminate Canon ?????? In my view, Canon is in the strongest position; that would work only if Canon ‘s customers desert them.

I was a Canon snob for 40 years. When I wanted to make the switch to mirrorless, I did through hands on research of all major cameras in my price range. I went with a Fujifilm X-T3! This was a brand that I never would have considered as being a serious contender and only included it because I didn't want to exclude any common brand ftpm my research.
My last Canon was a 5Dmklll (Full frame) and the X-T3 is APS-C. The X-T3 performance meets or exceeds that of the Canon in all areas.
ALL current cameras are quite capable. Ergonomics, Menu layout and options along with the number of programmable buttons, all played an important role in my decision.

Are there Tony and Chelsea haters?

I watch and read lots of reviews by various people, but I don't hate any of them. I tend to prefer some more than others because of the way they present the information, but I usually find something to appreciate in all reviews. A good deal of a review is opinion, but it has to be based in fact. A reviewer might make an error presenting what he thinks is a fact, but he'll usually follow-up with a correction.

I have been with Sony since the A100. Moved to mirrorless with the nex system and the translucent mirrors of the A57, A77ii and A99. Did full frame with the A850 and loved it. I have shot Nikon and Canon and Lumix as well. Unless you are a pro with specific needs, it really doesn't matter. What matters is knowing your equipment and being confident in using it.

The Northrop’s make money off of U-Tube. Tony likes to say controversial things in the titles, click bait, to attract viewers. He also sometimes says controversial things on the video again to garner more views and subscribers.

What amazes me is the cat fight it started here! There are many good cameras available today. I own and use a couple types and brands that work for me. And what others use is up to them. I don’t think any less of someone because they use a different camera than me. Nor more of them if they use the same brand as me. In fact the only advantage having someone use the same brand is to help solve problems or issues, with settings, etc.

I really don’t understand the cat fight over brands here.

I used to watch T&C's videos but stopped after the hatchet job Tony did on Steve McCurry.

Big Business involved in nefarious activity? Never! 🤣

Remember Volkswagen and their smog-testing scam?

Certainly the N's could be way off...

But Sony is definitely doing something about integrating their cellphone power with their camera line.

Keep the processing horsepower in the phone...and work an integration platform in between.

It's a smart move...since no one else has a cellphone line.

I hadn’t heard of a Sony cellphone line. “Apple” yes; “Samsung” yes; “Sony”, no.

Really?

They have some of the best camera phones out there...bar none.

Newest models will act like a monitor for your Sony newer cameras...touch screen as well.

They are already working towards it.

Heh...btw...those other brands...all buy from Sony.

The last time I went to the Cellphone Provider’s store they had displays for “Apple” and for “Samsung”. Punct. I have seen the same two-way choice on Cellphone-provider ads.

Apple and Samsung are the best selling ones I think. But there are many others like Google Pixel, Motorola (now owned by Lenovo). Nokia is another brand (sold to Microsoft but I don't know if Microsoft still own the Nokia cellphone business or not).

I just watched the video and found it interesting enough to watch to the end. I always wondered how cell phones seemed to be capable of things that cameras can't do. The idea of using an existing operating system seems plausible and wanted a cell phone, without the phone.
