Maybe this is just talk because Tony and Chelsea needed to talk about
something - anything ….. babble on [unwatch]

Oh for sure Tony and Chelsea must talk about something on youtube as I believe they make most of the money from youtube.

Tony and Chelsea, over the last couple years, have increasingly thrown the “dramatics” at us in an attempt (?) to grab attention. It’s gotten kind of old even when I’m interested in the subject matter.

I have noticed that as well.

I'm afraid that all YouTubers are doing that in order to get views ($$). Some YT headlines are so ridiculous that I don't bother to click on them. "Life discovered on Mars!" Not very likely.

Around ten years ago, Samsung had three Android-based cameras: two point & shoots, the Galaxy and Galaxy 2; and an APS-C interchangeable-lens mirrorless, the Galaxy NX. I remember the latter from an article, probably on PetaPixel, but that's about all I know.
Neither Samsung nor Zeiss is known for making cameras and neither stayed with cameras long, so I wouldn't consider the failure of these cameras an indictment against the idea of using an Android OS in a camera. I like the idea, mostly for the reasons Tony talks about.

( I just replaced Chelsea and Tony with UHH replies in your original post... Pretty much says a lot about hijacked posts and opinionated derailments...)

I watched a couple of their videos on YouTube. That was enough for me.

We (JPL, NASA, and the international community) are searching for life on Mars as we speak, so it might be true one day.
But "Intelligent life discovered on earth" would definitely be a fantasy.
Ah, a conspiracy theory a preferred tool of the selfish to gather brand loyalty from gullible consumer. AKA marketing. Personally I find brand loyalty in this arena to be laughably silly which id the definition of ludicrous.
With regard to the present conspiracy theory whoever made up this fertilizer has no clue how a foundry relationship works. I suppose it could range from where Sony does a complete design and manufacture, money and specs in to chips out, to simply production, masks in chips out. Neither extreme is likely but we will never know. It was thought to be that in the D7000 that Nikon and Sony were co-designing sensor chips for use by both. But again only a rumor. In any event the foundry reliation is a benefit to the consumer, that’s you, as well as to parties. It has been known to the industry that volume drives up the performance and reliability while driving down the cost. Dramatically! Last I heard, more than a few years ago, Sony was second to Samsung, think cell phones, in volume of sensors. That’s the good news. The bad news is they they are very close the the theoretical limit dynamic range at room temperature.
