Good morning from a 63F and sunny Shoreline area. Supposed to get up to around 86F where I am today. Was up to 88F yesterday, so a bit cooler today. Will have a cool down during the week with maybe a bit of rain, but back up to the low to mid 80sF by next Saturday. No plans again today, so will see what might come along. I hope you all are having a good day and staying safe and well. Missing all those who aren't able to join us. xxxooo

Happy Sunday, the weather is cool and quite miserable 😩 but still having the rain we need. I’ve been trying to get the table tennis 🏓 on the bbc to see Paul play, but could only get swimmers and runners.

It’s a nothing kind of day, today, and I’m enjoying it. I’ve stayed in Pjs all day and had lamb hotpot for lunch. Back to the grind tomorrow. I’ve done some washing too..

Love yawl, especially those who are needing more love then normally. Stay safe. 🤗 cuddles to those that need one. Xx

Good morning from Port Hope Ontario Canada. It is 6:53 am EDT and 15'C (59'F) going up to 32'C (90'F) with humidity. Yesterday we were able to open the windows. Today the air con goes on again until after the long weekend.
I picked radish pods last night after supper, so the plant decided to make more pods overnight that I had to pick this morning. A little rain sprinkled last night and that was enough for growth.
I don't know where my co-workers were yesterday. They had no excuses and I think they were enjoying the nice weather. I was outside more than usual yesterday too, but for no more than 15 minutes at a time, and I have my work phone turned up full blast so I can hear it ringing from the back yard.
I set up my new smartwatch yesterday. My current smartwatch is getting a little funky and since I use it for EVERYTHING I wanted another in case this one dies. I'm not as happy with the newer model. You would think that a smartwatch would be a WATCH first and foremost, instead of a mini video player, game player and personal assistant. My old watch can't do the video player thing but it does everything else, but it is a WATCH first. There are all kinds of watchfaces available that actually look like a watch and I can tell the time. This new one only has a couple of watch faces (mostly digital format) and the rest of the faces are animations. Or I can sign up for a subscription with a company and get whatever they produce. I only like surprises in chocolates. (Except candied ginger chocolates. Anyone know ANYONE who wants candied ginger chocolates?) The new watch will do, if I have to, but I won't be as happy with it.
I'm still doing the endless cuff on the sock. argggh
Good morning from Port Hope Ontario Canada. It is... (show quote)

What's wrong with candied ginger chocolates?

Just had a nice chat with June, she's very tired and lethargic (I think we all empathise with that) but still our same old June. She sends her love and thanks you all for yours. xx

Thanks for keeping us up to date. The heat cannot be helping her.

Morning all from a cloudy Norfolk but might have some sun later. Having a day off from restocking the freezer, not in the mood today. Fence men are back and might even see some fencing go up today. Nothing else planned so will take the day as it comes. Have a good one. xx

Good morning from a 63F and cloudy Shoreline area. Just had a bit of rain a few minutes ago. Got up to 88F here yesterday and today we're going into the 70sF. Will be a nice change. Have PT this morning and hopefully meeting up with a friend early this afternoon for an hour or so. I hope you all are having a good day. xxxooo

Good morning from Port Hope Ontario Canada. It is 9:36 am EDT and 27'C (81'F) going up to 34'C (93'F) with 74% humidity and thunderstorms overnight. The last two days have been warm but not overly humid with breezes. Saturday was bi-weekly shopping. 11K steps according to my watch. I don't do much after the groceries are all put away. Sunday was laundry day. The pump didn't pump twice and had to be manually drained. So laundry took all day and had to be babysat.
Today we are going to sister's for a soak in her pool, so I'll be missing Knitting in the Parking lot.
DD's bee suit hasn't arrived yet so I get to pick the radish pods because of all the radish flowers. They need to be picked every day because they are producing so much. The horizontal freezer is full and now we are filling the fridge freezers. The beans are also producing but the bean garden is full of mosquitos and they like to eat me. I hate the DEET insect spray because it is so greasy but I found some icaridan spray that is not greasy, but stings if you happen to spray a cut. ouch.
I filled up the bird feeders this morning and little bunny stayed just a couple of feet away, watching what I was doing. She'll stay close so long as I don't look directly at her.
I tried to follow the pattern on this next pair of socks but after trying 3 times and ending up with toes that were way too big, I went back to my usual toes. They are less pointy and fit me the way they are supposed to.
