I’ve been to Asda this morning.wow…..it was manic. I think it’s with the children off school. Some parents think, oh I’ll take the kids to Asda for some shopping and let them play in the aisles while I do my shopping. . I cannot honestly remember my child 👦 running wild like some of them do today. They had to stand near us and touch nothing. How times have changed.plus of course I’m used to going on a Thursday, which seems to be the better day for me. I’m on a trip next Thursday with chat club and lynn to ripon. I’ll probably buy a pork pie, or maybe some trousers.

I’ve had a letter from the council tax people and I had to respond to it, which I did.so that’s one less thing to do. I’ve only had a couple of 🐝 wasps today. June and jinx I’m sending hugs 🤗 and anyone else that needs one. Nothings happened so I’ve no news. I’m toying with the idea of going to Stephen’s. See how I feel tomorrow, it might not be a good time for them. Stay safe and love yawl.

Thanks. It's the Speckled Space socks by Amanda Stephens
https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/speckled-space-socks
And it's free. Good pattern for speckled yarn. Not so good for stripes. My yarn had both.

Thank you! Have downloaded and will cast it on as soon as I finish the tubular bind off on the current pair!!

Well I might have ordered a skein of yarn that a certain couple people on here would really like (it’s purple) going to make a cowl for Jen with it! And then I really need to finish this pixelated pullover, when that is done I want to make Lyrick a gramps cardigan!!

Good morning all from a threatening to rain Norfolk. Fence men woke us up at 7 this morning, not sure how long they will be here as it's Saturday. I'm a bit late this morning as I've made up a batch of salmon and prawn fishcakes to feed the freezer with although I have left a few out for tomorrow. Nothing else planned for the day, have a good day, keep out of harm's way. xx

Hello all, and a hello to Chrissy who came on watts app this morning. It was nice to hear from you. There’s nothing much doing today, it’s raining. I thought of going up to Stephen’s but I think they maybe out clothes shopping 🛍 for their holidays in a fortnight. I may go up the back end of next week.

Margaret been up for a cuppa and a chat. It’s the first time I’ve seen her this week I think. I’ve been watching a little of the commonwealth games, I was trying to see if there was a match going for table tennis 🏓, according to Karen’s text he’s got two wins so far but I’m not sure what. All will be revealed.

Special hugs to poorly sisters and stay safe. My friends and her 3 yr old have gone down with covid. 3 yr old is fine she says, but Jane herself is struggling. Love yawl. Xxx

Good morning from a grey but warm and windy Surrey. Had a lovely time at DDs yesterday. LM1 is studying textiles for her GCSEs so we spent a long time discussing what she would be doing. I want to do it too!

Happy Sunday everyone and stay safe xxx

Good morning all from a cloudy but still warm Norfolk, forecast to be up to 24C today. Had some rain in the night by the looks of it. Been feeding the freezer again today and stocked up on my burgers. That's my main chore for the day so will sit back and enjoy my peaceful (hopefully) Sunday. Hope you all do too. xx

Good morning from Port Hope Ontario Canada. It is 6:53 am EDT and 15'C (59'F) going up to 32'C (90'F) with humidity. Yesterday we were able to open the windows. Today the air con goes on again until after the long weekend.
I picked radish pods last night after supper, so the plant decided to make more pods overnight that I had to pick this morning. A little rain sprinkled last night and that was enough for growth.
I don't know where my co-workers were yesterday. They had no excuses and I think they were enjoying the nice weather. I was outside more than usual yesterday too, but for no more than 15 minutes at a time, and I have my work phone turned up full blast so I can hear it ringing from the back yard.
I set up my new smartwatch yesterday. My current smartwatch is getting a little funky and since I use it for EVERYTHING I wanted another in case this one dies. I'm not as happy with the newer model. You would think that a smartwatch would be a WATCH first and foremost, instead of a mini video player, game player and personal assistant. My old watch can't do the video player thing but it does everything else, but it is a WATCH first. There are all kinds of watchfaces available that actually look like a watch and I can tell the time. This new one only has a couple of watch faces (mostly digital format) and the rest of the faces are animations. Or I can sign up for a subscription with a company and get whatever they produce. I only like surprises in chocolates. (Except candied ginger chocolates. Anyone know ANYONE who wants candied ginger chocolates?) The new watch will do, if I have to, but I won't be as happy with it.
I'm still doing the endless cuff on the sock. argggh
Good morning from Port Hope Ontario Canada. It is... (show quote)

I love ginger, especially when it is covered in dark chocolate; I also love it as naked ginger, for a snack ...... or when I have an upset stomach! 😋🤣😂🤣 xoxoxo

I remember going camping as a child when the temperature hit -2'C overnight. In the morning our water was frozen. We all went to the bathroom to have hot showers to warm up. The day warmed up nicely after that.
