After our different levels of government removed a bunch of taxes from a litre of gas, the gas companies have been slowly raising the prices and they have almost made up the difference. Everyone keeps talking about electric cars but they don't really work well here in winter. Battery life is really reduced in cold weather. It would be ok if you only had a couple of miles to go, but it takes 4.8 km/3 miles just to get a loaf of bread here and we only have 2 locations that have chargers.
I'm going to sign off now and get a cup of tea before work.
Everyone have a good day.
Stay safe and those who are already poorly, I hope you feel better soon.

32C here this afternoon, it drains the life right out of me. Tomorrow 35C, that will be the hottest day, cooling off a few degrees each day till next Monday. Sandwiches and salads are filling the bill. Thinking of you all. xoxo
That’s exactly what I want when it’s hot!
Well the first day of school is off with a bang literally it’s storming like crazy and we even lost power briefly, got an email yesterday to find out that Michael will have his favorite teacher for part of his school day yay!!
Well off to go clean something else, jinx stop moving for now, hope you feel better soon!

Time for a small project? Stay cool in that heat.
I've got some socks I can work on. I stayed as cool as I could. xxxooo
Good morning from a 64F and sunny Shoreline. Will be going up over 90F in the area, but where we are should only get up to around 82F. That's bearable. Got up to 88F here yesterday, which isn't bad compared to those who were up around 93-95F. No plans again today, so will see what comes along and get on with the knitting at some point. I hope you all are staying safe and well. xxxooo

I went in to see Karen, she is going away to the commonwealth games for 10days tomorrow. Brie the dog 🐶 is going to her uncle David’s she is not a happy girl 👧. Karen is not a happy mammy because she doesn’t like leaving the dog 🐶 so theirs is not a happy house. I’ve got me a steak pie 🥧 for my tea and I’m really peckish.
I’ve been to Wendy’s this afternoon and did some good chatting, you wonder where we get it from. She’s got a poorly eye 👁 now , another something. She’s waiting for ointment. I had a little word with Cassie and showed her what we found on Sunday. She was fine, she says oh I never thought, 😣 sorry. I can’t help but like her. Anyway she did a very good job of cleaning this morning, I was well pleased. Sometimes we all just get into a rut.
I hope you are all well and those of you that aren’t I’m sending tight hugs, unles it’s jinx and I won’t hurt 😔 her elbow, I’ll be more gentle. Love yawl, stay safe. Xx
Just had a nice chat with June, she's very tired and lethargic (I think we all empathise with that) but still our same old June. She sends her love and thanks you all for yours. xx

I cleaned the vegetable crisper out today as I went to the farmers market this morning at 7:30 a.m. I thought it would be cooler at that time of the morning but it wasn't! Made a vegetable soup with all the veggies that needed to be used up and threw in some rice vermicelli... it was really satisfying!

The best tea I've ever tasted is Yorkshire Tea and my second runner up is Twining's Earl Grey! xoxo
