If having a needle stuck in my arm and trying to get some action from the doctor will fill me with cheer then maybe but I somehow doubt it. He hasn't said anything about prices rising and the piece of lamb he bought was a lot cheaper than I thought it would be, which is lucky as I can't afford to lose weight it's coming off me without trying. xx

Lower prices is good news. Everything is still going up here, or isn't on the shelves.
I hope your appointment goes as painlessly as possible.

Morning. I hope your adventure goes smoothly and that you return home full of good cheer. Hubby will not find any cheer shopping. I think if the prices continue this skyrocketing rise I might lose weight. 🙃

We're going to be eating a lot of beans. Beans are the only thing that isn't going up in price.

Well ladies, I was going to do a catchup, but I am just in the wrong mind set, so I am going to leave it until I feeling in a much better frame of mind. I have just handed over the paying of the bills, to DH, because basically I am sick of doing it; & my banking app has just locked me out in the space of 3 days; so I told him that he can now pay the bills ..... I have done it for the past 30 odd years, & enough is enough! I hope everyone has a great day today, I shall now sign off; and go and do something mindless, like some knitting, playing a game, or spinning! Will possibly try again tomorrow, but don't hold your breaths!😵‍💫😑😐 xoxoxo

That sounds like one of our banks here. Every time that DD and I tried to sign onto their onine banking, we had to call the bank because, either the password had been expired (after a week) or their online password reset didn't work. We ended up leaving that bank to one whose technology actually worked. Mum is still with that technology challenged bank and does a lot of cursing everytime she has to pay bills.
I hope you feel in a better mindset tomorrow.

Same here, Jinx ..... I would be lucky if there was even 4 yarn shops in that radius, for me ...... but there are a huge number of yarn shops, within reach via the internet ..... but I can't touch those yarns before I buy them! xoxoxo

We had about a dozen within driving distance in this county pre-pandemic. Not sure how many we have now.
There used to be another dozen in cottage country about one hour drive away as well. I have not checked how many are still running.

Well we have had about four days of it almost being 90F, it is supposed to cool down by next week, I just caught up and don’t recall seeing a post from June hope she is doing okay!
I have to go get Michael only 10 more days till summer vacation woohoo!!

We get rain on Sunday that will drop our temperatures back to the normal temperature for this time of year. I wouldn't be surprised if we have some thunderstorms on Sunday.

I do feel lucky. Lots if driving around. We covered a lot of ares here in western Washington yesterday which also involved 2 ferry rides to cross the sound to the south and then again to cross to the north. There are 20 shops on the tour this year. We are only going to 12 total. xxxooo

We have ferries just to the east of us, but ours are not as nice as yours. One is so small it only carries one car at a time.

Hello, girls,it’s been a beautiful day although breezy.a good washing day, if I was washing. I slept until 10,20ish from about 8 last night. I woke up a couple of times. My last being 9.30am. I thought I’d just lie a few moments before I got up. Ooops. No. I went dead to the world 🌎. I went to see if Karen was ok and had a drink 🥃 with her. Michelle is staying home today, so I went to Wendy’s this afternoon. Today was a very talkative day. We couldn’t get enough chat. I had a couple of hours there and now im home 🏠 ready to UH 😒 and jigsaw 🧩.

I see Margaret is home now, I saw their car 🚙 on their drive. I’ll probably see her tomorrow. I’ve got to do a little phoning to different places in the morning, I must not forget. I’ve no news today, so stay safe, love yawl. Xx

When you need the sleep, sleep if you can.
It's great that you have someone to chat with. I had to miss Knitting in the Parking Lot last night, just to be safe, but mum is testing negative every morning, so we should be safe to escape on Saturday. None of the other people in her photo club have tested positive either, although she hasn't heard from the widow yet.

Didn't behave myself too much, just a little! We visited 7 shops yesterday and plan to go to another 5 shops today. It was a fun day yesterday. Pretty long day, but fun. I hope everyone is having a good day/afternoon/evening. xxxooo

A long day, but lots of yarn to look at and squish, and company to enjoy the trip.

I've caught up already. We need our people back. It's too quiet on here. I hope everyone is ok.
I'm going to sign off now and get a cup of tea for work.
Everyone stay well.

That sounds really warm. Do you get high humidity, too? I hope all is well with June, too! Come on summer vacation! xxxooo

Yes but the humidity hasn’t been to bad, mil got the pool ready, but in my opinion it takes at least 2 weeks to warm up because it still cools down at night and it’s a little harder for it to maintain a warm temp, it is going back to the 70’s next week!

Good morning from Port Hope Ontario Canada. It is 7:06 am EDT and 12'C (54'F) going up to 23'C (73'F) with humidity and lots of sunshine.
There is a crazy young squirrel in the back yard who has been running, jumping and rolling in the grass and scaring both the birds and the other squirrels. I noticed this morning that we do not have nearly the amount of birds that we usually have. We have lots of red-winged blackbirds, mourning doves and grackles, but not many other birds. Even the hundreds of robins that usually live in this subdivision are silent.
It's Friday the 13th so I'm expecting craziness at work. Yesterday 40 employees left and I had to disable all their accounts. I ended up not doing much else.
Mum and DD painted the frames around the gardens. As usual, mum came inside with more paint on her than on the wood. She put her hands on the painted frames several times, and even put her hair into the paint. DD had a couple drops on her hands.
I've done 3 repeats on my summer top, 7 more to go on this panel, followed by 3 more panels, then seam them all together with 3 needle bindoff.

The baby blanket is gorgeous, I have never seen that stitch before!

Nice flower it’s hanging in there.

Well remember the comment I made about my dryer well they are now telling me that another service company has to come look at it first to make sure it’s not fixable before they will replace it…….it’s been another week and I still have not heard from anyone…….it’s been a solid month now without a dryer!!
