Morning everyone. I beat Jacky to the punch this a.m. I went to bed very very early last night. I had not slept the night before. I was worried about the medical tests I needed. I found a lump last week. My doctor saw me that day and ordered mammogram and ultra sound. Had to wait a week to get an appointment. After the tests I had to wait about half an hour for the results from the radiologist physician. All clear, no problems. Come back in six months or sooner if need be. Prayers were answered.

You should try numbering the lids with a felt pen and having a legend… it works really well if you keep them in numerical order.

That is exactly what Mr. Wonderful does with his meds. He keeps them in order and after using them every week for a long time he can recognize them by their number.

Thanks, it went well…. I peeked. I haven’t clear vision yet and hope it shows up in the morning. I’m not sure what to do, as I need my glasses for the other eye yet.

Hoping today's vision is even better than yesterdays. Do you have to see the doctor the day after surgery?

Good morning all from a back to normal sunny Norfolk, it eventually stopped raining early evening yesterday. We should be in for a very warm weekend with perhaps thunder Sat. night. I'm totally confused (easily done) at the moment, our rubbish day has changed from Fri. to Thurs. so thought I had missed a day somewhere until, half asleep, I remembered the change. Nothing planned for today so will carry on the same old same old. Have a good day. xx

Morning. Do you have to take the bins to the curb? Our bins are so large that hauling them to the curb is a big chore.

Yes but they are tucked behind the front hedge so not very far to wheel them out. At The Barn they were in the workshop and it was all uphill to the curb, when they were heavy of course so it's easy here. xx

Very nice roses. There were rosebushes along the side of our verandah, when we first moved to our home; but DD4 was only 2, when we shifted & unfortunately she fell from the verandah, into the rose bushes and had terrible scratches all over her little body, as it was summer, and she was dressed in minimal clothes, so that she stayed cooler. DH then took out all of the roses, so that she wouldn't be able to fall into them again, we also gained another child at that time, and their daddy didn't want either of them falling into the prickly roses! 😐🤔🤣😂 xoxoxo

Our bins are supposed to be on the edge of the gutter, so that the truck can use the lifter, to pick the bin up; if it isn't placed properly, the bin lifter doesn't work and the bin won't be emptied!

I think the lifters were a great advancement in garbage pickup. I do miss the days when the workers would walk to the back yard, retrieve the cans, take them to curb, empty them into truck, and then return the bin. We have a small amount each week so we just put it in our neighbors can as he does not have much either.

Good morning from Port Hope Ontario Canada. It is 7:02 am EDT and 9'C (48'F) going up to 26'F (79'F). Mum uncovered the air conditioner unit outside.
There are still 188 people in ICU with covid. Wastewater is showing that covid is slowly going down. The latest observations are that the omicron variants are not causing the typical loss of smell and taste and are causing more intestinal effects. Mum is still testing negative.
My back yard is full of squirrels having their breakfast but the little red squirrel looks like he has moved on. We haven't seen him in 2 days. There were too many birds here for his liking. Tippy was here for her breakfast, then disappeared, probably returning to her babies behind the neighbour's house.
I've started my summer top with the yarn that I have. (Weird, huh!)

I have no memory of garbage pickup, prior to moving into the area I live in now ..... I think that is because I was usually working on the mornings that the bins were emptied, and the bins were put out by my previous partner. I don't do the bins now, either; DH puts the correct bins out every week, then brings them back in again.

Our neighbour has 4 kids, but no garbage to put at the curb. His girls take their garbage to the park garbage bins when they walk the dogs.
We had a lifter truck for the compost. But I've seen the workers just empty the little bins themselves because the lifter is slow.

That is understandable.
I keep planting mini roses and mum keeps stepping on them, or the bunnies eat them.
The wild rose that we transplanted from under the locust tree to between the houses is growing like crazy. Hopefully we actually get flowers on it this year. We'd like to know what colour it is.
