Ohhhh, good one! New, or have I been out of touch too long?

You've been gone a while. Your return was noted by several sources. The vines are a reworking of something I think goes back to ancient Greece. My keyworded pool of at-the-ready comments now numbers over 2000 ....

Too bad it's not original.

She also said: “For there’s nothing more foolish than a man who thinks he’s clever, and nothing more wise than the man who knows that he is nothing.”

Now that the OP of this thread certainly don't want to see such a post but I disagree with him to force Paul to post in a separate forum category. The OP should treat his allergy.

You want original? Here you go:
I quit being afraid when I bought a mirrorless camera and none of my old DLSRs burst into smoke.
Take photos of what you like, with a camera you like. If you are pleased with your photos, then you have all you need. I remember several years ago, a slightly challenged man and his wife that I knew, took a bus trip vacation with a Kodak 110 camera. They brought the photos to work and they were so excited to show everyone. The lesson here is the memories they preserved is what matters, not the fuzzy photos of cows through the bus window. So don't get caught up in a lot of technical talk about what's best. Just sayin'.

Again, not even close!! Best of luck my friend. Use what you want and I will do the same.
Not going to argue. But I know how large organizations handle big purchases. Wishes of the users are usually some distance down the list. Thats why I will never base an individual purchase on what some big outfit does.

Have you ever thought of becoming a philosopher?

Who in their right mind would want to eliminate a topic that generates four pages of response in way less than a day. Let's see, I think the first one I actually remember taking an interest in was rangefinder vs SLR? Then digital vs film... now it's? It's always something. There now, I've gone and quoted Rosanne Rosanadana. Give me liberty or give me a Z9!

You don't "become" a philosopher because you want to. You are one by nature - or NOT. But anybody can make philosophical statements, usually in the form of clichés. . .

Many will choose to be in bondage to the Z9 . . .
