We should have a new "mirrorless' forum. This way, those of us who are satisfied with our clunky, old, DSLR's won't have to listen to the constant preaching about the mirrorless. It almost makes me vomet when I'm told I will never truly have a feel for life until I kneel at the mirrorless altar and convert to the no mirror god.

Or we can live with it.....

(Same with Sony, Nikon, Canon, Fuji, ... cameras.)

Or, ignore it!

There is ALWAYS some joker yammering, “Mine is better than yours…”.

More power to ‘em.

Some must be feeling pretty insecure to suggest a "Camera Apartheid" . . .

Those of us with clunky dslrs can safely say "mine's bigger than yours"

Should we have a contest to see how many we can name and have a prize for the person who names the top ten most accurate?ly

Get used to it.
The pros have left the DSLR behind statistically.
The market follows the pros...as with most other products that have levels of gear.

SLR cameras have been around for a long time. Other technologies have come and gone, I will stick with my clunky old dSLR.

You have a point, there's too much emphasis on equipment and not enough on technique. However, let's not forget, DSLRs replaced SLRs and there was likely a similar discussion then.

You don't create great images while admiring all your failures.

Not a bad idea, actually. Or maybe those of us who are still happy with our systems need a new forum that could actually be devoted to discussion of meaningful photographic topics, including even our hardware, without having them devolve into sermons preaching to just buy a mirrorless camera (or do a factory reset on the one we have).

And FotoHog...I am sorry to have to tell you, but the division already exists.
