Pretty to look at, brings back fond memories of tobogganing as a rug rat but.........YAAY!! No snow for us!!!

Thanks! Glad I live where I do, despite the weather. Like to visit Florida, but couldn't live there. I need my space.

Thanks, will do my best, but the weather usually moves through here fast, headed East.

If it gets this far east it won't be white when it falls. We're getting Indian Summer this week...supposed to be 80 by Friday.

I've had enough hot, looks like we're going into the 60's with an occasional day in the low 70's. This year, the Indians can keep it, though I usually enjoy it!

Woke up this morning to Winter Wonderland Lite, a bit more falling. Won't amount to much, and a week of more seasonable weather will melt it off. Thirteen years ago, this day, or very close, the timber frame of the house had just gone up and we had a blizzard, better than a foot of snow. I had the rare privilege of shovelling the entire first floor of my house. Much prefer this! D750 AF S 24-85 1:3.5 4.5 G

Glad you enjoyed them. A quiet place with lots of elbow room.

We got 8 to12” at our place in Virginia City putting somewhat of a dent in our timing to head back down to Arizona in our 5th wheel. Supposed to warm up in a few days (25 this morning) so we will get a melt and be able to get going. Guess this is why they call us snowbirds. Fly south in the winter.

Aah, the memories - first snow in October (sometimes Sept.) was covered by layers lasting until May! The Adirondacks were a great place to live, but the winters lasted much too long.

I know that feeling, but I can always put on more layers. Heat, on the other hand, there are definite limits to how much you can take off, and if it is bad enough, you get stuck inside most of the day.
