Woke up this morning to Winter Wonderland Lite, a bit more falling. Won't amount to much, and a week of more seasonable weather will melt it off. Thirteen years ago, this day, or very close, the timber frame of the house had just gone up and we had a blizzard, better than a foot of snow. I had the rare privilege of shovelling the entire first floor of my house. Much prefer this! D750 AF S 24-85 1:3.5 4.5 G
Oh, Quixdraw, this is a well-taken series, and the dusting of snow brings out a variety of textures in the landscape. However, I'm far from being mentally ready for winter to arrive here so please do what you can to keep it there a bit longer.

Thanks, will do my best, but the weather usually moves through here fast, headed East.
We will take all you have left over, QD.
Well, that's a start. There will be more!

Be glad to share, but mostly weather moves East or South East from here. Emerging from a fairly nasty fire season.

Thanks, true, but this year, I'll take moisture any way I can get it!
It's a little early but we need it so bad! Feel sorry for the people stuck on I-90...that looks like it was a mess.

Hadn't heard about that, an inch or less here. Just about anywhere I've lived, all snowy, the first snow day on the highway is idiots delight. I swear many forget how to drive in Winter from one year to the next!
Nice shots! I enjoy seeing snow through the lens of others since I moved south.

Thanks! When I was working and had kids in school, I hated snow. Retired, I don't need to go anywhere if conditions are bad. Except for extremes, it really doesn't bother me anymore, other than that I may need to plow the driveway.
Pretty to look at, brings back fond memories of tobogganing as a rug rat but.........YAAY!! No snow for us!!!
