I found that at first I didn’t enjoy them at all no matter how much I wanted to but knitting them two at a time gets them done and I have started to enjoy knitting them getting ready to cast on another pair now!

You've inspired me. I've bought the yarn, just can't figure out which pattern to use.

Enjoy your knitting day.
We've got a mixed day with sun and cloud, (and thunder) but no rain in the forecast.

The sun managed to squeeze out for a few minutes and that was it. xx

When Harold's aunt died no one knew her middle name. Seemed so sad that her sister or husband did not know. The aunt that took the long airplane ride needed a passport to take that ride. She found out her name was Marion, not Maryann. She had to legally change her name to Maryann to get the passport and to make all her important papers legal.

That has happened in my family as well. I wonder how they manage for so many years using a different name.

It has all gone dark here so I'm thinking that thunder is coming towards me.
I'm going to sign off and get a pot of tea in case the electrics go off.
Everyone have a good day.

That's the only way that I can finish 2 socks. If I do them on DPNs, I end up with one sad sock.
The latest trend is to wear mismatched socks, but I can't do that.

I'm the same and can't purposely mismatch them either. 🥰

Mum reads murder mysteries all the time and watches NCIS (Navy Criminal Investigation Service), FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) and CSI (Crime Scene Investigation) on TV. I have to wonder about her.

I watch them all, too, and read murder mysteries, too. 😊😊

That’s my problem too, I like knitting on dpn’s but if I don’t do them both at the same time it takes me forever to cast on the second one so magic loop it is, or two circulars!

Wise move to go to the dentist before you wake up in agony in the middle of the night.
It is 72 here also, but sunny. Just a lovely day out.

I hope you had a great time with Barbara in London.

Yes, I did, thanks Nitz! She is looking to move from her warden assisted place as the warden is pretty useless and a little bit crafty - not in a good way!! She has found another place that she likes on the other side of her town, just needs to unload hers now!! xxxx

Oh dear, hope the dentist can make you more comfortable and not empty your bank account in the process!!! Glad it's a bit cooler for you now xxxx

This is my funny story about the books I read and my favorite authors. I had a stack of books in the car to be dropped off at the thrift store. I stopped at a rummage sale on the way to the store. They had a bunch of books for sale and I ask if they would like to add mine to the pile. I left the books there. Later that day my next door neighbor came over with books she had purchased at a rummage sale. She chose the books because she knew they were by my favorite author. Yup, she purchased the books I had given the ladies at the rummage sale.
