Good for you and good for the recipients. My items are not as nice as your blankets. I seem stuck on making hats as I think they are the most useful things for those that do not have warm clothing. Right now I am making a baby sweater. New born pattern called for dk yarn. I am using ww. I believe the finished size will fit a 2 year old. Size does not matter when donating items. Hopefully they all can and will be used.

Your hats will be picked up quickly once the cold weather hits. Just need lots of room to store them until then.

Good morning from a cloudy and 62F Seattle area. Yesterday was so pleasant. It was warm but not scorching hot and we had a nice breeze, so windows open and fresh air. No plans for today, so will take it as it comes. I hope you all are having a great day/afternoon/evening. xxxooo

I hope your nicer weather continues.
It's very still here right now and there is thunder to the north.

Morning. Aren't we lucky we know how to knit on the days we have nothing planned. When we were in lockdown some of my friends kept complaining they had nothing to do. I made a lot of knit items during that time just to occupy myself and now the items will be useful to others.

I agree. Knitting has kept me sane (mostly sane/level keeled/my usual self).

Good morning all from a cloudy Norfolk, doesn't look as though the sun is going to make an appearance again today, at least it's not raining at the moment. Nothing planned so knitting to the fore. Have a good day. xx

Enjoy your knitting day.
We've got a mixed day with sun and cloud, (and thunder) but no rain in the forecast.

Me too. DD's dentist gives her laughing gas. She's still a happy chappy when I pick her up.

So pretty. Too bad that it is still difficult to get things across the border.

There used to be a poultry display at the Port Hope fair. Yes, there are a lot of beautifully coloured chickens. And many people around here like the exotic breeds.

Yes, it definitely makes them more pleasurable to have them both finished at the same time. xxxooo

That's the only way that I can finish 2 socks. If I do them on DPNs, I end up with one sad sock.
The latest trend is to wear mismatched socks, but I can't do that.

I know several people who have switched jobs at this time. Jobs are plentiful and incentive's are being offered. A perfect time to be a job seeker. A family member accepted a higher paying job with better benefits and a large sign on bonus. When he gave notice to his old job they topped the offers and gave him a bonus. Plus this was all in writing and notarized so they could not back out. Good luck to your guy.

We're not seeing incentives like that up here. Although restaurants are saying that they are having difficulty hiring wait staff because of the demand, but they are not willing to offer more money to them.

That’s what our temps were yesterday but just a tad higher it cooled way off when we got a little rain last night, then today it’s almost 15 degrees cooler much nicer! I would have done okay on the Friends trivia but I don’t care for the serial murders either.

Mum reads murder mysteries all the time and watches NCIS (Navy Criminal Investigation Service), FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) and CSI (Crime Scene Investigation) on TV. I have to wonder about her.

You and me both I sure miss our insurance from Lowe’s, Dh is thinking of switching jobs again He was sought out again by another company hopefully it will pan out for him, he likes Tractor supply they just have unrealistic expectations of people when they can clearly see that they are under staffed it really gets under my skin the way some people talk down to someone who is clearly going above and beyond.

Good luck to your DH.
