Get yourself a fitness watch that tells you to move every hours. It has made a big difference for me.

Mine didn’t help because when it told me it was time to move I decided that it wasn’t time yet..🤪😜😳

Good morning all from a sort of cloudy, in a foggy sort of way, Norfolk, hopefully the sun will burn it off soon. DH has gone shopping with a nice long list so should be gone a while. Not sure what I will do, probably nothing although the to-do list is getting longer, oh well it will still be there tomorrow. Have a good day and stay safe. xx

Good morning from Port Hope Ontario Canada. It is 5:59 am EDT and 1'C (34'F), and misty. It is supposed to go up to 18'C today. It did yesterday too after a chilly start. We went for a long walk on a country road and got to see a bunch of Canada geese eating the green winter wheat. My car is loaded with summer tires that go on on Thursday.
Today is the day that my BIL, my sister and myself get our jab in Campbellford where my sister lives. I got permission to leave an hour early from work so I can drive to my sister's house. The vaccinations are being given by the paramedics at their ambulance station. I'm bringing some knitting and hoping to get there a little early so I can find a parking space.
Our new covid number is 4250 with 18 deaths. We have 9 new cases in this area. The positivity rate is 9.2%. 741 people are in ICU with 506 on ventilators. Newfoundland and Labrador, PEI and Nova Scotia are going to be sending ventilators and highly trained staff to Ontario as the health experts say the peak is coming this week or next. Additional restrictions go into effect today. The borders to Manitoba and Quebec are now closed to anyone not having an Ontario plate. (Except commercial vehicles transporting goods.) All outdoor spaces are now closed. Except yesterday the government agreed to keep playgrounds open for children. No one is supposed to leave their house, except to go to work, or for medical purposes. Religious places can still allow 10 people inside. Businesses have not been told to send workers home. One of the opposition parties wants all covid restrictions lifted because they think this whole thing was manufactured for the governing parties own benefit!!!!!?????? The other opposition leader just says NO to everything but never suggests why the government actions are incorrect and what they should do instead.
An extra 1 million doses of Pfizer are to arrive this week. No Moderna vaccine or AstraZeneca vaccine will arrive this week. Moderna is telling us they don't know when they can send the promised doses. The government is now saying that pharmacies and doctors can give the AstraZeneca vaccine to 40+ aged people. Pop-up clinics are vaccinating people over 18 in the hot-spots in Toronto and Peel to the west of Toronto. No appointment necessary. One of the people in the line was interviewed and she said she wanted the vaccine so she could get back to living normally again. The interviewer didn't tell her that "normal" will not occur until over 70% of the people have been vaccinated. We've already seen seniors from Toronto come into this area, saying they are safe and they should be allowed to travel wherever they want. (There's a stay-at-home order in effect from the province, people)
I worked on my intricate shawl and have finished the 4th of 5 charts. This thing will need to be blocked somehow.

It is actually green not browny coloured

Most people so far have accepted the vaccine, but a lot of the people of ethnic origin won't have it, unfortunately a lot of them work in our care homes which is not helping matters. xx

Our people of ethnic origin are accepting the vaccine so long as there is no appointment and the clinic is done in their area.

It's not a tradition jinx, it's all to do with social distancing....she did look so lonely didn't she. She looked frail, which she doesn't usually. The family were in separate households to stay safe, but the guards (700) of them weren't social distancing though! Well, I suppose they couldn't play their instruments with a mask on.

Did any of you see that big bag that she had sitting on what used to be Prince Philip's seat. I'm thinking that she had something that was special to herself and Prince Philip in the bag so she could have something of him there with her.
That made me cry.
The guards did keep a respectful distance from the Queen.

Good morning all from a bright, sunny and warm London, 17'c here today, we're getting there slowly!!

Have been grocery shopping this morning, the car park was quite busy as it is also the town car park and our few, pitiful shops are now open!! Not too busy in the supermarket though.

Not much else on the agenda today, although I bought some plants so I might put those in later.

Have a good one everybody, stay safe and happy, lots of love xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I will, thank you - and the pie is actually part of his birthday present and went down very well, apparently!!! xxxx

Well, no. I used two for the pies - it was still too much - gave two to Jill and I will chop up and freeze the remaining one! What a bargain that was!! xxxx

Hello girls, I'm a bit later tonight. I'm at Stephens and staying over. He's just had a reaction with his jab. The sweat is pouring off him and got a bad head. Not a happy chappy at all. So.....no groceries..and that's fine...ill call for some at Asda on my way home. I can't see him making it to work tomorrow. He can fight the world in bed, but when he gets up ...wow.....

We've had pizza today for tea. I'm not a lover of it, but I suppose they do t like what I like to eat. One piece does me. I called in to see Albert on my way up here and removed the dead flowers. A few mins chat, a bit one sided...

I'm going to catch up now then do some jigsaws. Love yawl. Stay safe....xx
100 br br Hello girls, I'm a bit later tonight. I... (show quote)

Did Stephen go to the hospital or report that reaction. The Health people here are saying they want anyone who has a reaction to report it, in case there is something wrong with a batch of vaccine.
I had home made pizza last night. One side was a meat-lover (because my DD says that is her favourite) and the other side was asparagus, bacon and yellow pepper. Guess which side of the pizza was eaten and which side was left over?
A one-sided chat might have been a good thing. If someone had answered, what would you have done?

It was nice to see the brothers talking. Harry is loved in my little corner of the world and we are sad to see him separated from his family. I thought it was a sad tradition to leave the bereaved sit by themselves. There is probably a good reason for that tradition.

Hi jinx! Not a tradition, socially distancing because of Covid, they are setting us an example!!! Xxxx

A lot of people are saying they will have a memorial once the covid restrictions are lifted because they can't have a proper funeral now. Only 10 people are allowed at funerals here, even the outdoor ones.
