I am quite interested in how your latest project looks also! I am quite a tight knitter, so I sometimes have to use larger sized needles, so that I will end up with a jumper that will end up being the size I want! As for the Vaccines, I hope it all gets sorted very soon; so that everyone who wants to have it, will be able to get it within a reasonable time frame! xoxoxo

I have become a really loose knitter since the pandemic started. Now I automatically go one or two needles down to get gauge. I used to be a tight knitter.
I would just like our area to communicate.

You missed an opportunity there. You could have "educated" him on all your tools.

I'd rather keep him mystified, more fun!!!

There's a shortage of vegetable seeds in the UK ATM because everyone has used lockdown to grow their own.

Sounds like everyone will be enjoying some beautiful home grown vegetables; and a generation of children will get to taste how nice these vegetables can taste! Two of my DD's have begun growing different vegetables, and have also planted fruit trees; they have already been able to harvest some of the produce. Their grocery bill will decrease by a largish amount, once they are able to harvest more of their crops! I think that a lot of others have done the same thing! xoxoxo

Do your cats ever try to go outside, to chase the rats; or do they just ignore them? We had a mouse in our house for a short time, but I think it moved out again, once it discovered that a dog lived here also, and had already previously caught a mouse ..... I haven't heard any of the ruckus that it was making during the first couple of nights that it was inside! πŸ€”πŸ€¨πŸ™„ xoxoxo

Our cats have been catching any mice stupid enough to get into the basement. The rats are field rats and have never tried to get inside.

He doesn't care as it's my money. I buy what I want. He just doesn't understand why I need so much yarn. I refer him to his 4 lock-up garages and his workshops.

Good morning from Port Hope Ontario Canada. It is 6:28 am EST and -14'C (7'F). Precipitation is forecast along with rising temperatures. Not sure what the precipitation will be.
Our new covid number is 1299. That's up a bit. Positivity is 2.1%. We have 5 more cases in this area. They are all variant cases. And 2 are in ICU in hospital. They are all household contacts of people who have had the virus. This province managed to vaccinate almost 100K people this weekend. NOBODY in this area. Stuart and I tried to find information about vaccine clinics in this area. They finally posted a plan on one of their websites. It only has the first two vaccines, Pfizer and Moderna, and says the clinics will start in June and end in September. The prime minister promised everyone in Canada who wants a vaccine will be vaccinated by June. (except this area who will just be starting vaccinations at that time.) Astrazeneca has also been approved and we got our first shipment last week of over 900K doses. Johnson and Johnson single dose vaccine has also been approved, but we will not be receiving any of that until April.
It was not my bi-weekly shopping weekend, but DD needed some things for supper so both mum and I went out. There were a lot of people out and about.
My green cardi is almost finished, only 4 rows to go, but they are long rows. And I finished my first ball of yarn on my Hitchhiker and got 26 teeth.
Good morning from Port Hope Ontario Canada. It is... (show quote)

Your hitchhiker is looking good! xxxooo

That's our typical weather for this time of the year. We're getting precipitation today, but no one is sure what kind.

Yesterday was very crazy weather-wise. According to the weather people, we're supposed to have a week now of sunshine and a bit warmer. A nice, welcome change. xxxooo

Good morning from an almost full light and 30F Seattle area. Supposed to be sunny and in the 50sF today. Once again nothing much planned, so will take it as it comes. Will get on with my knitting. I hope you all are having a good day/afternoon/evening. xxxooo

Hello everyone, it's pouring with rain and I'm hoping my chimney is mended properly. I don't want water coming in my bed again. How are you all today! I've had Marg up for her tea and chocolates in the porch and we ate some dairy box today.

There's been a lot of talk on tv about Megan and Harry and I believe we are getting the interview aired tonight in uk. Have any of you watched it yet? I have my own thoughts on it so far., and as I said the day she walked down the aisle, I didn't trust her and I still don't. It's just my opinion and I might change my mind after watching Oprah.

I got a letter from the RNLI today but nothing else. Tomorrow I go up to Stephens to sleep over but Wednesday could be a washout for our day out. The weathers forecast is atrocious.

I'll go and catchup. Love yawl.

It's Groundhog day over and over. If you miss a day, no problem. Things will still be the same when you catch up.

What is a groundhogs day and is it the same in USA as Canada ? I often hear groundhog day mentioned and never had the bottle to ask what it is?
