Love #1 Donna. No I didn't notice all the little critters until you pointed them out. A regular zoo.

It certainly was a zoo, Rich, and I'm so glad you enjoyed! Thanks so very much!

Great shots, Donna! That 'gator would make me nervous even if he is a young one. Love the processing!

Thanks so much, Charlie, and me either. I'm glad I was hanging over the boardwalk, and they were down below. Would not want to be in the water with either!

Thanks so much, Cathryn, and I do agree with you about the gator! The young still have those awful teeth, and they're so used to people they're not even bothered by our presence. They swim toward you instead of away. Yikes!

I don't own any snakes, Val, but we have them in our garden quite often. They're fascinating creatures, and I like looking at them too.

Thank you so much, Sylvia! Glad you enjoyed and also glad you were not repulsed by the delta critters. Somehow I knew you would like them, and I'm so pleased you do!

...but not very pretty. Oh the goodies one can find in the Mobile River delta! I first thought the snake had something sticking out of his head, but after a closer look... Canon 100-400 leaning over the boardwalk rail. Please try the downloads. I promise the critters won't getcha!

that is the coolest and most interesting snake shot ever, donna...how exciting to see those 2 buddies? together like that. i see some kind of other critters in the shot too...you struck it rich that day!

allie, or is it crockie, doesn't look scary like some i have seen...love that head shot of him/her.
you are mighty brave to lean over the rail to get those shots!

Fantastic capture of the snake and damselfly Donna! It reminds me of the riddle of the chicken, fox and grain....lol. Nice one of the gator too. I'll post some of my gator shots from the Okefenokee Swamp someday.
