...but not very pretty. Oh the goodies one can find in the Mobile River delta! I first thought the snake had something sticking out of his head, but after a closer look... Canon 100-400 leaning over the boardwalk rail. Please try the downloads. I promise the critters won't getcha!

Wonderful photo of a very interesting moment! Your damsel is living on the edge here. As for the very fine gator photo, I'm not sure I could ever get comfortable knowing I'm in the same area code with them.

LOL Thanks so much, Phil, for the lovely compliment and LOL! Believe it or not, the gator was just a 'teen'. We see and hear the granddaddies every now and then, and my peace of mind takes a hike.

Snails, frog eggs (I think) and a strange water bug thing in the upper right. Everything is submerged except some of the grass and of course the snake and damsel.
