Fantastic capture of the snake and damselfly Donna! It reminds me of the riddle of the chicken, fox and grain....lol. Nice one of the gator too. I'll post some of my gator shots from the Okefenokee Swamp someday.

LOL Clever comparison, DNat, and I'm glad you enjoyed these. Thanks so much, and oh yes, I'd love to see your gator shots!

What great shots, Donna! The water snake is such a unique shot, and the juvenile gator is a very interesting shot, because most photos I see posted are of the full grown gators, and it was great to see the young one close up! He's kinda cute!

...but not very pretty. Oh the goodies one can find in the Mobile River delta! I first thought the snake had something sticking out of his head, but after a closer look... Canon 100-400 leaning over the boardwalk rail. Please try the downloads. I promise the critters won't getcha!

Nicely captured and processed, Donna; great catch on the snake and dragonfly.

I'm so glad you like these, Sandy! Thank you so much for taking a look and for your lovely comment! The very young gators are spiny and are even more interesting to me. I think maybe this one was a teen.

Thank you so much, Rob! Glad you enjoyed these. I was so excited when I found out the 'thing' on the snake's nose was a damsel instead of an injury.

Wonderful work as usual Donna.
