I like all three for different reasons, but I’m leaning toward #3 also...photographically. I love the pose, though it would have been nice to see just a bit more of the left wing. The bird is literally throwing itself into the sky (negative space). If I were to display one on my own wall, I think it would be #3, but that beautiful glare and tipped head in #1 might win it a place on my wall also. Thanks for weighing in. jak

They're all really great photos, but I pick #3. An unusual shot for one thing and I like the flared talons as he leaves the branch and takes flight. All in sharp focus.

Those details appeal to me also. I think if I delete hat two from he bottom it will be better. I love the action in that shot. The pose seems somehow classic. Thanks for viewing and sharing your favorite. jak
