3 for me, but I like them all!
That tilt and the beautiful eyes draw you in. Thanks for your choice. jak

All good, jak!
Thanks, Mike. I feel lucky to have had the opportunities to shoot these subjects. Each has strengths. Take care, and thanks again for writing. jak

Katy,
3 is the most dramatic, but you’re right, they each have their attractions. Thanks for looking and weighing in. I think on 3 I should remove that little twig at the bottom...it’s a distraction in an otherwise simple photo. I like the negative space. jak

Jak, hard to pick one over the others since all three are great. I can not say why for sure but the Cooper's wins out for me.
Greg
I find these are too dissimilar to actually choose. There are excellent qualities in all of them. May I ask why we are being asked to choose? Are you entering a contest and can only enter one?
I like the tilt of the head and inquisitive look of the first one and the fact that we see him in his environment. The other two are more similar, so I can honestly say that the third one gives a more graceful view of the hawk than the second one.
#1. Better background and more color.
Number 1, but number 3 would be fun to experiment with in post processing using overlays/textures. Nice!
