Zero at our house. That's about normal for us.

We used to get over 100 kids on Halloween. Last night only 18 came to the house. I got to eat all the leftover candy!

How many did you get?

I gave out 500 pieces of candy in 2 hours. We gave doubles to a few little kids with cool costumes and one of each kind to my grandkids, so the estimate is 450-475 truck or treaters.
The block I live on has churches with 2 Trunk or Treats so I get all of those kids too.
Luckily my gf and another friend came over to help me distribute the candies, otherwise I might have spent all night doing it. 🤪😜🤪

This is my first year in a townhouse community, we had about 60-70 kids. Had a few little ones (preschoolers) but the majority were grade schoolers.
I dressed up as a Werewolf and would yank the door open, managed to scare a few of them👹.
I really felt bad for a little guy who went ballistic when he saw me. I ripped off my mask, but he would have none of me, so I gave his grandfather two heeping handfuls of candy.
Next year I plan on being the Hunch Back of Norte Dame, sit on a dolly and roll out of the garage!

We had over 900. We live in Las Vegas, New Mexico where the kids love Halloween and the business’s all support their activities.

We got only 15-20 last nite and the weather was pretty good. Only two that weren't tiny kids. We usually get 40-50. I too am gaining weight from eating the leftover candy.

Total of 17. That's down from over 50 the year before. We had a very nice, cool night for the kids. Now, I have 3 bags of Milky Way and Kit Kat candy to use.

Six, but our community stresses an activity called Trunk or Treat. People meet at a place and give treats from their cars.

We get around 1000 kids at Halloween. My sister in law takes photos of some of the kids and then does a scrapbook page with their image and a story about the character they are dressed as. We then pass these out to them the next year. We have been doing this for 8 years now and have many that specifically come to our house for the photo. We usually have about 200 scrapbook pages to give out. I am usually in costume and I handle giving out the candy. We have a great time.

Used to get dozens, we had about 7 kids this year. Took our grandkiddos to the downtown merchants trick or treat earlier, great fun.

We had 37 skeletons, ghosts, vampires, witches, and one bathtub. We pass out 10-cent pieces and you know what some kids shout "Wow money." We haven't given candy for years. One year we had visited an apple farm and had a large crate of apples to pass. A few parents thanked us, the kid response was nuanced.
