Art Len vs other lense’s

If we were to correct every grammar error here (on the forum), though, we’d never have time to do anything else!
And spelling errors!
Agreed, but this misspelling happens way too often and it hit me when I was feeling vulnerable.
Thankfully, Alan provided a great answer to the OP's question.
I was not sure about Sigma's line myself, though I have 2 excellent copies of the 50-150 2.8 lens.
A long time ago, Sigma lenses were pretty crappy- had one fall apart in my hand.
They have really stepped up their game with the premium line.

My hot button is the miss-use of "their" and "there" in a sentence.

Just to throw that in, so you don't have to think "German" anymore when you read lense, the equivalent word for lens, in German is Objektiv!
Just to put the thread back on track, I was fortunate to pick up 19, 30 and 60 art. I am a Canon shooter with L lenses. I added a Sony aps-c e-mount and use these on my Nex 6. I am very happy with the glass and the camera. I picked them up used and they are a Par of my, "Gutter Gear project."

Looks like you "put the thread back on track" five separate times. That's what I call determination!

I have tested some of the Sigma Art lens series since they came out and they are exemplary for the money. Excellent quality, solid, and very good clarity. But, at least when compared to the best Canon "L" lenses, they fall a bit short.

They dont really fall short of the Canon L lenses or even Sony G-master lenses. I have owned multiple lenses of Canon L, Sony G-master and Sigma Art. The Sigma Art series are all designed to resolve for 50+ megapixel sensors, making them future-proof. They may not focus as fast in video in some adapted-lens converter setups, but their optical quality is second to none. Please read ALL the actual DXO tests. Just two example shots :the Sigma Art 24-105mm f4, and the new Sigma Art 70mm f2.8 macro lens (comes in various camera mounts) CLICK ON DOWNLOAD TO SEE FULL EXPOSURE, COLORS ,DYNAMIC RANGE ,AND RESOLUTION FROM THESE SIGMA ART LENSES. AS GOOD AS ANY CANON L OR SONY G-MASTER LENS. I KNOW I HAVE OWNED ALL THREE SERIES.
First shot is Sony A7RII (42 megapixels) with Sigma Art 24-105mm f4 lens. Loch Shiel, Glenfinnan, Scotland. Jpeg straight out of the camera with no post processing. The location of many scenes filmed for Harry Potter movie series.
Second shot is Sony A7RIII (42 megapixels) with new Sigma Art 70mm f2.8 macro lens. Shot of a small fly, jpeg straight out of the camera with no post processing. Both show off the stunning IQ of Sigma's best ART series lenses.
Cheers
