I have about 2000 pics on my lap top that are not on my desk top, I want to move some of them over, not sure the best way. Should I get a flash drive? LR CC to LR CC
Thanks for all the response to my problem with missing photos and several LR icons. Yes I am aware that the newest version of LR is 8.4, but I have a LR icon on desktop for classic CC 2.4. Today I opened the LR catalog and still have 169 missing photos but am able to work with them in develop. Plan on getting in touch with Adobe and hopefully getting my problems fixed. Thanks again. Using Win 10, latest version of LR classic, monthly pay version. Still unable to relink my missing pics. I have been reading and watching many you tube videos, not much help or maybe my old brain is having diff. Looked on my desktop and noticed 2 diff. icons of LR, one is classic CC 2.4 and the other one is LR classic. I always do everything in LR not file explorer. When I opened the CC icon there was all my missing pics. I cannot figure out to move them over into LR classic. The structure of LR CC is very basic. I went into my file explorer and saw LR-2, LR-2-2 and LR-3. There is nothing in LR-2 and my pics are in LR-2-2 and LR-3 has numerous pics from when I was using elements and they are not in my main LR. I want to move or add these pics over to my main LR-2-2.
should I do a import? or do I need to get a geek to fix my problems? L. Shoe will go into LR and fix things but she charges $135 an hour, while I feel this is not out of line, I am a retired person on a strict budget. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have 59 missing photos in my LR library. I went into my LR book and tried to follow the directions. Rt click on ?, there is no ? on the photos. There is a ! on each photo but does take me to the relink. So I did a You Tube video and that was not helpful. I can see all the photos but am unable to do anything but look at them. I went into my external hard drive and find them, but not sure what to do from there. Also I can see them in Icloud storage folder but how do I move them back into LR?

Fun place to visit. On the way there is an old mining town, worth a visit also. Then on your way out of town, drive around the Superstition mountains, 10 MPH is tops, dirt rocky road and no guard rails. Take some water and snacks, end up by the Roseavelt Damn in Globe.

Have driven this road many times. 15-20 miles an hour, all dirt and rocks with dead drop offs.
