Tortilla Flats just east of Apache Junction is a fun interesting place to visit and have a brew with some good food. Then some ice cream at the ice cream shop. The restaurant walls are wall papered with dollar bills and there is a Rock-Ola juke box. Here are a few photos. The first one is main street Tortilla Flats. That's all there is. The second one is the Rock-Ola amongst the dollar bills. The third one is, you can probably guess. There is an old school house, a gift shop, and many old artifacts to enjoy. Don't miss Tortilla Flats if you are in the area. Have a GREAT DAY!
Looks like a good place to visit.
Excellent set,love the jukebox.

Jeffrey, Thanks for sharing. Will put that place on my list when I head out that way. You captured a place in time. The last image is my favorite. They must have run out of toilet paper.
I like this set....that out of order sign ......all they have to do is change the bucket lol.
Been there; posted some shots a couple of days ago--interesting place.
Been there. Not too far off the beaten path and a great place to see.
Lots of good photo ops on the Apache Trail on beyond Tortilla Flat. Road from there on up to Roosevelt lake is pretty washboardish, but passible.
Fun place to visit. On the way there is an old mining town, worth a visit also. Then on your way out of town, drive around the Superstition mountains, 10 MPH is tops, dirt rocky road and no guard rails. Take some water and snacks, end up by the Roseavelt Damn in Globe.
Jeff, a very familiar area for me. You captured it quite nicely.

The old joke about the 2 red and 1 white corncob: use a red corncob, then the white one to see if you need the 2nd red one!
Apache Trail is one of my favorite drives in AZ. Have done it many times and always come away with several very nice shots. Well worth the effort required because of the condition of the road.
