Thanks for all the response to my problem with missing photos and several LR icons. Yes I am aware that the newest version of LR is 8.4, but I have a LR icon on desktop for classic CC 2.4. Today I opened the LR catalog and still have 169 missing photos but am able to work with them in develop. Plan on getting in touch with Adobe and hopefully getting my problems fixed. Thanks again. Log in to the Adobe forum, you'll get a quicker response.

You can change your desktop icon by deleting the old one and putting the new one on your desktop.
