Here's a question I have for practicing Christians. Jesus is portrayed as a loving god, accepting of everyone, sins and all.
Here's a hypothetical. My twin brother and I grow up as practicing Catholics. During his college years, my brother stops believing. We both graduate with honors, marry wonderful women, and raise exceptional children. We both give a great deal of time and money to charity, and live exemplary lives.
One day as we are returning from a charity event, we are both killed in a car crash. We are both standing in front of Jesus to be judged. My question is this: do you think that Jesus would deny my brother entry into Heaven because he was wrong in his beliefs? If his entire life had been spent living the teachings of Jesus, but he didn't believe in Him, do you really think he wouldn't be saved? Enlighten me.

The simple answer is no. Good deeds will not get you into Heaven. Therefore believe in Jesus, that He died on the cross, to pay for our disobedience to Him (sin).and that He rose again that pay the pentalty of sin. Yes, Jesus is all loving and will forgive you of your sins, except the sin of unbelief.Jesus will not pardon you for not believing in Him.
Believing in Him is not automatic you have to make the choice.
I hope this would enlighten you. At least back to the Bible and back to Jesus.
