I took a couple shots outside the other day and when done I noticed some dust on the lens (really, a skylight filter). So before putting the camera away I got out a dust blower and used it to blow away the dust before replacing the lens cap.

For some reason, something occurred to me that I'd never considered before and I'd like to pass the observation along along. I was putting next to my lens a lens cap that I had never bothered to clean. It's not a particularly old lens cap but when I took it off to examine it there was quite a lot of dust on it. It didn't take long to blow the dust off, but doing so might well keep some of that dust from falling back on the lens.

So I'm wondering, was I alone in never bothering to clean my lens cap?

Welcome to our forum!

It sound like a super zoom bridge camera would be good for you. Look at the Nikon P900. When you narrow down your choices, read some comparisons.

Yes, right-click the file and note there are options for removing the folder. Don't delete, just "remove" :)

You can also go up to file - add folder to Picasa, and find removal options there, as well as having Picasa only scan a folder once, not every time you open the program.

Thanks Linda.

Every time I open Picasa it grabs every picture it can find on my PC. and puts it in Picasa. Is there any way around that? I only want the pictures that I'm working with in there.

Thanks, Kenny

Yes, it was nice, and there was lots of food and drink available. The teacher was smart to choose a painting like that. Anyone could paint it. There were fifty copies, all slightly different, but they all looked good.

You did a good job Jerry!

I have a Lenovo Ideacentre desktop that is 3 years old now, and have had no problems with it. I added a dual monitor video card and it had no problem getting along with that change over. It runs cool, unlike the ASUS that I had previously that only lasted 1.5 years because it just didn't have enough fans, or the proper fans to get rid of the heat. You could hardly hear yourself think with the high-speed whirring those fans made. I would definitely buy another Lenovo. They've retained IBMs quality.

Hi everybody. I just ordered Lenovo H50-50 computer from B&H . Do any of you own one, or know of someone that does. I would be interested in hearing your comments.

I use Photodex.Producer'I've used it for 4 years now. Photodex also has another one called Proshow Gold. It is a little less expence. You can try both of them. If you are going to be doing several Slide Shows, I would go with the Producer. Here is there web site.

Let's start at the beginning -
Assumption:
You downloaded zip files to a folder on your system.
You extracted the files to another folder on your system.

You created a new preset topic in LR by:
Having LR open -
Having a photo open in the Develop Module
Expanded the Presets to show all of the installed presets
Right Clicked on one of the installed presets and selected "New Folder"
Named the new folder to a name of your choosing
Right clicked on the new folder you just created and named and selected "Import" - then you located the file you extracted from the zip file and selected it.

What error are you getting when you do these steps?

I have listened to Anthony Morganti's tutorials and enjoyed them, I'm very sorry to hear that you had a terrible experience. Gives me pause going forward about buying from him.

Thanks Marty, Let me know if you hear anything.
