Just try to locate canning lids. We had to travel almost 100 miles to get regular size lids. Large lids might take a trip to Europe to locate.

Thanks Leon S, There's another guy, now saying the young lady ""the other dog owner doesn't sound to be too bright"''  The poor lady has had her little dog savaged, by some unleashed hound, through no fault of her own and this guy is saying she is not too bright.......... I just cannot understand some people.....??????????????

Sorry Graham, but you will never understand some people. It's too bad but this country seems to be getting more and more people who don't have much love in them. Couple that with an attitude that they are above everyone else and owe no kindness to anyone. However there are a lot of people who are kind and caring. Since I have gotten older than I thought I would ever be and have severely lost my leg muscles along coordination, I am frequently helped getting through doors by young people. Some of them look like they might be featured on America's Most Wanted show, but those youth help me with a smile and words of kindness. There is still hope for the new generation. Lets give them a chance. I really like your dogs. Leon

In my opinion you are a complete and utter disgrace and a pathetic stupid disrespectful liar.
First off off you said you went to the end of the beach, where there was no-one there, did the young lady with her little dog suddenly appear, as if by magic. You now say your dog came up to sniff, Did it sniff the little dog in the surf????. Also, you are now calling the innocent young lady, who had her little dog savaged, by your vicious hound a "dimwit". Just 'you' and your irresponsible behaviour is the "dimwit". I could think of a lot worse names that you are. You should be ashamed, of your abusive none apologetic disrespectful self, and grow up and admit it was you and your irresponsible self, that cased the vicious attack on her little pet.
No-one else caused this....As for your card and vet bill......The jury is still out on that score???????

Quotes of the year "Her dog started it. My dog came up to sniff." No. Because the dimwit walked up behind us"

Oh My God!!!!!!!!!....Graham

First off Graham is that the writer is from Idaho. Idaho doesn't have water large enough to have surf. The person writing is just a blow hard and probably in love with themselves. Ignore the idiot.

“From what I saw, Floyd died of drug overdose“
What drugs are you taking, that has distorted your thinking to such a degree?
That is incredible crap.

The only drugs I am on is metformin and one pill to prevent retaining water. My thinking is obviously better than yours. Try watching something other than CNN propaganda. The media has represented George as St. Floyd. Remember he spent a lot of time in prison for putting a loaded gun up against a pregnant woman's belly while robbing her. Sorry but its time for BLM start identifying hero's to follow instead of the thugs they mostly have been courting. I'm tired and so are most of the people I know, which includes minorities I know, of peaceful protests which turn into riots. I'm tired of the rioters rioting in areas where they can smash, burn, and steal from hard working people. I'm tired of watching rioters leaving protests with TV sets, electronics, booze, and other items. What ever happened to the phrase looters will be shot and survivors shot again. It's not "crap" Kmgw9v: it's reality.

Since I grew up in this area and worked there for many years, I paid particular attention to any videos that were shown. The site of his arrest is known for drugs and hookers. From what I saw, Floyd died from drug overdose. I saw video showing him with a white pill on the back of the tongue prior to collapsing. I saw a small white bag on the sidewalk behind were he was sat. It was reported he died with almost four times the amount of fentanyl as needed to kill a man. He also had other drugs in his system. Other statements were made that to me indicated he was trying to pass more than the one twenty dollar bill. Is it possible Mr., Floyd had digested his own stash and OD-ed.
The BLACK LIVES MATTERS group and politicians immediately blamed the police for abuse of power and immediately started calling it a "killing". This whole thing happened at the height of the covid 19 outbreak. Would any sane person restrain a person displaying what was recorded on camera any other way. It's about time we allow the courts to examine the evidence and make a decision based on that evidence. Not one based on emotion or political agenda.

i'm almost certain this is a truly uneatable mushroom. Probably poisonous. Stick to the five or so commonly recognized wild eatables.

In the last week we have lost one hen, ten chicks, and one other hen really beat up from a racoon. We have tried live trapping it since the first loss, but the SOB is smarter than me. We know its a racoon from the tracks it leaves around the live trap. I won't use poison, so the hunt goes on. Any suggestions.

The first thing I would do is change lenses. Then you will know if the problem is the camera or the lens. Since the mark is part of a circle, I suspect the problem is with the lens.

I love your philosophy. I just turned 75 and find it hard to just walk to the car. I now give my things to kids. That said I still drive the lawn equipment, service the equipment, vacuum the house, and wash dishes. What I would really like to do is go hunting, fish a trout stream, tend a garden, take a cruise and walk the port stops. Live life while you can and don't just collect things.

Actually the official "state" autopsy also showed similar results, so do you really think a third "independent" autopsy is necessary?

It's more a matter of did they charge the officer who had his knee on George Floyd's neck with the correct crime?

Should it be first degree murder or second degree murder instead of third degree murder and manslaughter?

What will the other 2 officers who were also kneeling on George Floyd's back be charged with?

What will the officer who waved off the EMT's be charged with?

You do realize that the officer who's already been charged is currently on suicide watch, he was moved to two different jails within hours of his arrest. I don't think he'll be getting bail any time soon!

Not sure if you think I'm supporting one side or the other. What I'm supporting is that I'm not going to be one who is accepting anything anyone says until it is presented in court with backup documentation. We won't know until all of the facts are presented. For example: Were the officers trying to restrain a person violently thrashing around while trying to prevent Mr. Floyd from harming himself until medical arrived and ensuring they themselves were not exposed to possible covid 19 virus. Would you expect anyone, including police, to give mouth to mouth resuscitation. Were the officers acting to the "best of their ability" during a pandemic. That's what the court system is for. Our legal system is to bring out the truth.

The second autopsy showed the cause of death to be asphyxiation caused by an extended period of time of pressure on the victim's neck and back.

In other words all 4 officers murdered George Floyd!

Frist of all, what did you expect to come from an independent autopsy. The family would be stupid to hire a doctor who's opinion matched that of the state's clinician. I'm not a doctor and neither are you. They might now get a third person to give an independent opinion. The courts will decide and hopefully with a jury of George's equals. This whole thing is above my pay grade and probably yours too. Why don't we just sit back and see what the special prosecutor does. Keith Ellison should be adequate for the job. He also has expressed interest in charging the other three officers that were involved.

SELF CORRECTION: In more recent reports, the mayor and other politicians state that their information was not correct, that it has now been determined that while there were a substantial number of out of staters arrested, the majority were in fact state residents.

It takes no time at all to get a Minnesota license or ID card with a Minnesota address on it. Even Mr. Floyd recently came here from Texas. Its hard to tell how long a person has been here by what a person's drivers license says. I lived in the areas of the twin cities where the riots took place. I know from personal experience that many if not the majority of people there are from somewhere else. So the 80% figure for out of staters making up the rioters may be closer than you think.

I agree Jaymat, That's my opinion too. Governor Walz and other of his staff probably endorsed the outsider comments to try to end the riots. It didn't work. People I know don't buy it either, but there probably were some outsiders involved.

I'm sorry that George Floyd is dead. why he died is still not conclusive. Yet many including Governor Walz as well as many other politicians are openly calling the arresting officer a murderer. Our leaders shouldn't be trying guilt over the media. They are affecting the future trial and juries; possibly making a trial impossible. Minneapolis has plenty of criminals living in the affected areas of Lake Street, North Minneapolis, downtown Minneapolis and University Ave in St. Paul. Many people who live in the metro area are familiar with how thugs have taken over there and openly sell drugs and are involved in other illegal activities. Police are frustrated arresting with these thugs to see them released shortly afterward and watching them immediately go back to their trade. Are the mobs made up of out of state thugs? Maybe, but Minneapolis and St. Paul already have plenty of thugs who are happy to loot, fire bomb, and terrorize without outside help.
