Great shot. Have to ask: did you get her to position her boob to be "sideboob" only or was that serendipity?

She was laying on the horizontal fallen tree. It was quite a deliberate position.
Took several that had full on front views but really liked the feel and mood of this shot.

Hello all,

I'm loving this new section. I haven't gotten much opportunity to shoot nudes but I do love the challenge of capturing the beauty and character of my models.

Here is one of my favourite shots from a shoot I did last summer.

I have used various "Punch" programs in the past. The more "basic" versions will have everything you need and they sell under $100 Canadian over here. I presume they would be available in Europe but can't say for sure.

I have purchased a custom backdrop previously from Vision Bedding- www.visionbedding.com

They do produce a variety of customizable photo products.

I found the quality excellent but they are consumer focused.

have you considered a battery grip for your camera. that way you could use both batteries in your camera and when one discharges, the other will kick in and you could charge the battery that is low on charge.

While not addressing the OP's original concern I want to state that this system wouldn't work with Canon battery grips. The camera doesn't use all of one battery and then switch to the other one - it depletes them roughly equally.

I have the original Canon grip for my 7D2 and actually run with four (4) batteries. I run them until they flash warning and then I swap both at the same time.

I saw this story in my facebook feed yesterday from the original McLean's story. For the record, the name of the city the refugees moved to is "Peterborough" not "Petersborough". It's about an hour east of Toronto.

Hey Kenneth - just in case you don't locate its meaning easily "GWAC" means "guy with a camera" and has the connotation that while having a camera, he likely doesn't really know how to use it.
Typically these are people who get in the professional's way during a wedding and generally think that good gear alone will make for good photos.

Good Luck and welcome to the site. Shoot a lot, post photos and ask for suggestions then shoot a bunch more.

Ignore the trolls (there aren't that many) and you will learn a great deal here - I certainly have.

Cheers

The fewer the sections, the more stable the tripod will be.

Each time you have a connection, you introduce the possibility of vibration. The trade off is 3-section tripods don't collapse down as much and therefore are bulkier to transport.

The seller advised he is selling this because he upgraded to the new version of this lens. The original is the push pull version of the lens.

I purchased this exact combination when the 7DII launched. The 18-135 STM lens is great. The range on it is fantastic and it is incredibly quiet when focusing. For video work and also shooting in a variety of spaces, this lens will not disappoint you.

Very likely is brand new.
It could have been a "buyers remorse" return.

If the box is open, they have to review and sell the unit as a "refurb".

I had that code come up when I ran into an issue with the internal wire ribbon on one of my lenses.

If cleaning the contacts doesn't work you will have to send it to Canon or a Canon Authorized repair centre.

They were one of Canada's biggest photography retailers - largely mall based. Very famous for one hour prints back in the day. Largely targeted towards the average consumer/mass market photographers.

They had been purchased by TELUS a few years back (one of Canada's big landline providers in western Canada and also a national cellular phone provider). They tried to revitalize the stores with the added draw of cell phones but it clearly wasn't enough. They closed up all their stores in August of this year.

They are continuing to operate as an online based printing company only.
